Five Below — Attraction in Orlando

Just left this location with my friend. Was not a pleasant experience. My friend came in with a shirt she bought from a gainesville store and left the sticker on. She loves to shop at five below, and it didn't occur to her that the sticker was still there until the last minute. At check out, the cashier just assumed she was stealing it. We reassured her that we just walked in asking about a charger for her laptop. She could have handled that in a more professional manner. My friend walked out first after her purchase, and the cashier continued to say, " I didn't mean to offend her." I continued."Well, you did, and she's my friend, and she literally loves to shop at five and below." I've worked in customer service for more than 10 years. Located in the East Colonial shopping plaza area, this location is a normal size and setup for this chain. They are newer and opened up this year. They fall between two parking areas, but you should be able to easily find a spot and walk in without much issue. They usually have bins outside with some specials offers, so stop and take a peek.

Once inside, it's setup like all of its sister locations. They have everything from decor and bathroom items, to t-shirts and exercise equipment. There is an array of items to choose from, and I usually head in when it's a holiday season or if I'm hosting a party or event. They always have fun tchotchke items for things as well.

The register bay is lined with impulse items and it's easy to get caught up in grabbing a few extras as you leave!

I have to say when I walked in, all I could hear was the cashier talking in Spanish SO LOUD to her coworker (the rude guy with the painted on beard) who was literally 2 feet from her. He takes a customer and I'm standing there waiting while she talks for another 45 seconds and when she was done she said, "next customer". So I had to wait for her to finish her story before she could help me. The painted beard guy smokes weed all the time outside and he stinks up the place. It's just becoming a trashy place thanks to your employees. It's a great store, mind you, it's just the staff that needs...
