My friend and I went here yesterday after driving by another foot massage spa. We looked the other spa up on google and were turned off by their pricing. We googled some additional spas and found this one, which had great reviews and it was in close proximity to my home. I called and asked if they had room for 2. The woman on the phone said yes and asked when we’d be there. About 8 minutes later, we show up and two to three people were standing at the front desk with a smile on their face. The receptionist asked which massage we wanted and pointed to the list. My friend and I were only interested in the foot spa, and they asked if we wanted to add “special” water for $5 extra. This is the only thing I would advise against because the only thing that was special about the water was the little teabag they added. Your feet are only submerged in water for like 3 minutes before the massage starts. So we get in the room and they lower the seat backs (so you’re laying down) and they place blindfolds over your eyes. Everything was calming, serene, and relaxing to say the least. My masseuse, Kelly, was amazing!! It was such a great massage. So great that I even fell asleep during my time there! We only went in for 30 mins, but it was so good that we asked to add an additional 30 mins! One hour massage (with the “special” water) was $55. My friend just told me that the tipping system was kinda odd - $10 for one smiley face $15 for two smiley faces and $20 for three smiley faces. I felt terrible after hearing this because I only gave Kelly $10. Her great service should not be compared to how many “smiley faces” people think she deserves. She gave a 5 star massage and I hope she knows that I very much enjoyed it and will be coming back. The last thing that viewers should know is BRING CASH! They charged me an extra 3-4% because I paid for the massage with my card. I didn’t see that posted anywhere in the spa entrance, but maybe I wasn’t looking for it. Overall it was a great experience and I really, really enjoyed my foot massage with Kelly. I will, hands down, be...
Read moreWhile the massage itself was good I was very annoyed by the unprofessionalism. After my massage as I was walking out of the room the lady behind the desk asks me if I enjoyed myself. I replied yes and she said "good, now you tip. Your Husband only paid for massage you have to leave the tip before you go." She said this loudly, in front of other customers and in a demanding way. I didn't have my wallet on me as I left it in the car.. I was actually going to go get it and come back and tip because tipping should be done AFTER a service is received NOT before so there would have been no reason for my husband to tip beforehand.
I understand how important tips are, having worked in the service industry for years. But 1) you don't demand a tip and 2) If you were going to "suggest" a tip there are more professional ways to handle it then to embarrass a Customer in front of other people as though they didn't...
Read moreI went to this place with my husband, we decided to have a couple's deep tissue and foot massage. The worst massage we have ever received in our life! They were 2 men who had no idea what they were doing. I told the person who did my massage not to make me so strong 3 times, if someone is a professional knows that it can be done soft, medium or strong! The man wasn't listening, mid-massage he climbed on my back with no reason, I told him what are you doing! My God what is this???? TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, MORBID and DISGUSTING. I also realized while he was scratching his hands on my back the guy had a wart which was hurting my skin, I stopped the massage because I was desperate, after the traumatizing situation. I'm going to report the place and I'm also going to press charges....
