I recently went to Eola Wine Company for the first time last night. I was immediately greeted by an adorable and energetic individual, Megan. She was friendly and made me right at home. She was so knowledgeable of the wine selection and was able to suggest a beer that was close to my usual taste. I feel like she could recite the menu in her sleep. Her knowledge was so helpful. I mentioned vegan and she pointed me right to my food options. Yes. They have food! And vegan options! The Flatbread that stuck out to me had eggplant, marinara, caramelized onions, mushrooms, 2 cheeses, arugula and roasted red pepper pesto. All vegan minus the cheese. Megan was happy to accommodate my non dairy request. After taking the order I noticed her treating every other guest with the same kindness as she showed me. My food came out rather quickly. A lovely human, Kris, brought my meal to me with one of the most genuine smiles I've ever seen. She made sure my food was correct and looked perfect, refilled my wine glass with the spring water I ordered and made sure my beer was full and to my liking. Love your hair Kris! She then went back to her bartending duties. She also showed the same attention and kindness to her other guests. I later found out she was responsible for the tunes piping through the sound system. The volume was perfect and the music was catchy and comfortable. It definitely went with the vibe of the whole place. Shortly after the food arrived, Dan, the man from the kitchen who made my flatbread, poked his head around the corner to make sure everything was perfect. Thanks Dan! Megan, Kris and Dan all made sure I was well fed, comfortable, and hydrated. These three, and the vegan options, are why Ill definitely be back. The food was awesome and the people were even better. Hope to see yall soon!...
Read moreJames and I had the most amazing date night at Eola Wine Company, and I cannot recommend this spot enough! Right in the heart of Lake Eola, this cozy wine bar is the perfect place to unwind, sip on amazing wine, and enjoy delicious bites in a relaxed atmosphere.
We kicked things off with the Bubbles Wine Flight and Red Wine Flight—if you love trying new wines, this is the move. After tasting, we each picked our favorite and ordered a full glass. Best strategy ever. 🍷✨
Now, let’s talk food—because wow. 🧀 Cheese & Charcuterie Board – Do yourself a favor and get the truffle cheddar. We also added prosciutto di Parma, Genoa salami, chorizo, and Purple Haze. Perfection. 🍞 Bruschetta Flight – Every flavor was so good, we had to try them all. No regrets. 🧈 Baked Brie – The real MVP. If you go, you HAVE to order this. Trust me.
Between the warm ambiance, top-tier wine selection, and incredible food, Eola Wine Company is officially a must-visit. Whether it’s for date night, a girls’ night out, or just because—you need this spot on your Orlando bucket list! Check my experience on Instagram...
Read moreWent for wine and dessert. Service was slow although not super busy. Wine selection is good with typical pricing. Desserts. Terrible. They had a red velvet and a chocolate something (that’s how underwhelmed I was). The presentation was nice. The first bite of each however told the tale. The red velvet was literally like taking a mouthful of confectionary sugar with a very subtle finish of cream cheese. No red velvet taste, no creamy rich cream cheese layered it, not even a good buttercream. Just solid confectionary sugar. Okay. Take two. The chocolate layer dessert. Solid on the fork and ..... another disappointing mouthful of confectionary sugar without even a hint of chocolate. Not sure what happened there except the pastry chef should stick to display models. When being honest with the waitress, she replied “yeah, they’re pretty average”.
I will give it another try for their wine, and she did remove them from the bill (we literally took a bite of each), but dessert is definitely not their thing - which was...
