Relax Grill — Restaurant in Orlando

The level of disrespect and dissatisfaction that I experienced with this place was below 1 star. As usual, whenever I visit lake Eola with my family, we stop at relax grill. All our experiences have been good. However, what I experienced yesterday when I visited that place was beyond what I could imagine. Yesterday, I stopped at the restaurant to get a quick meal for my 5 and 3 year olds. When I walked in no one acknowledged us. Nevertheless, there were waitresses behind the bar doing nothing. I had to ask about sitting arrangements ( it would be nice if you have a sign that says have a seat and we’ll be with you). So we found a table and waited patiently. A lady later came by and apologized for the wait and ordered our drinks. She was fast with the drinks. We then ordered two kid’s meals (hotdogs), something that would be quick and easy. We waited for over 30 minutes. My children were looking around hoping that their meals were coming; regrettably this never happened. We saw other people who came after us got served and not us. I offered to pay for my drinks to leave. The server apologized and left to go check on the food. Since she didn’t get the payment as I requested, I walked to the bar to pay. As I voiced my disappointment for the lack of service, this young, obnoxious, and disrespectful girl started talking very disrespectfully and she told me that it takes a long time to cook hotdogs and she laughed in my face and walked away. She was loud and did not care that the service was poor. What made matter worse is finding out that she is the manager. When I asked for her name. The staff paused and said he name is Jasmine. Although it’s a very great location, the customer service was unacceptable. Me and my friend went to get some happy hour drinks to take advantage of the low cost appetizers and margaritas, but it took 15 to 20 minutes for a person to even notice that we were sitting at a table (and there was NOBODY present), then another 30 minutes for our drinks to come out. Even when our drinks did eventually come, my friends margarita had no alcohol whatsoever (we wouldn’t lie about this. There LITERALLY was nothing in the drink. It was a slushy). When we initially brought this up, one waitress attempted to help but another insinuated that we were lying and became defensive about her drink mixing skills. She did not try to help change out the drink or improve the drinking in any way. On top of that, we ordered nachos and Shrimp, and it never came out. People who had come in minutes after us were being served first, and when we finally were fed up and decided just to leave and not continue since an hour had already gone by, she proceeded to give us a check that not only overcharged us for the substandard drinks, but also charged us for the food items that never even came out the kitchen in the first place. If the disrespect wasn’t enough, even when they corrected the bill, the waitress was very rude and condescending, despite her not trying to help at all. At the end of the day, come here at your own risk. If you’re going to be coming to this restaurant, make sure that the waitresses and the staff are attending to you properly, and not charging you for things that you never ordered.
