Lake Eola Park Swan Boat Rentals — Local services in Orlando

I brought my two daughters for the swan lake pedal boat ride for one of my daughter’s birthday! We arrived at 10:30am which the website states that they are open from 10am-7pm seven days a week! Once we walked up there was a sign that says they open at 11 so I asked one of the attendant if they do not open until 11 and he said yes so I then told him the website times are wrong and should be fixed being that we planned our day around swan boat ride at 10! He then told me I was wrong and the website says 11 so I told him I was looking at it at that moment and this man still was rude and said nope it says 11! So we left but we will go back for our ride but I will never recommend anyone try this experience as beautiful as the lake is and as cool as the swan pedal boats may be because the workers we’re rude disrespectful and spoiled our fun before it even began with their condescending attitudes and smart remarks towards a paying customer just trying to have a good time on vacation! It was 94 degrees and beautiful with a nice breeze. We went there and waited in line. The lady said she has only one boat with no cover or we can wait for one with a cover in 20 minutes. When we camE back, they were shut down due to high winds. What high winds?! They told us 30 minutes and to check back. I came back three times up to 8pm. The weather was the same the whole time beautiful. This is Florida. There always going to be a nice breeze. They claim they are watching the radar. If they’re going to keep closing most of the time, then might as well close this business.

Here I am again 12/30/2022 While we are waiting in line. One of the ladies working there was talking on the phone. She was cussing bad with a very filthy mouth. There are families in line and many children around including my children. She couldn’t stop cussing and saying the “F” word at least six times. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The girl working the stand (blue hair with face piercings) was not present at the location when we arrived and ran over from her car when she saw us all waiting and then tried to tell us they close at 6:30 when the sign behind her and online both stated 7 pm. Even if the last time to take a boat out was at 6:30 we could’ve made it if the employees were present and not hiding out in their cars. She was extremely rude and then called her manager Yoshi who was just as rude. At first her excuse was they closed already . And kept sticking to this excuse but her attitude and excuse changed once the manager got on the phone and now the reason became that it wasn’t because we got here late but because it was about to storm.
