Dr. Mark Munro is an excellent surgeon. My first encounter with him was 2016 and I had to get a total hip replacement on my left side and prior to the surgery I asked questions and he explained everything so well I felt as though I could perform the surgery myself lol but he is very knowledgeable, professional and he and his entire team make you feel like family. I had very small scarring after my procedure and that really placed the icing on the cake he really was a blessing because he explained his technique and it was awesome he went in through the front part of my upper thigh area and needless to say my procedure was a success. I had to return this year 2026 to get a hip replacement on the right side and I did not want any other surgeon but Dr. Munroe I thank God I was able to get my procedure done and 9 years later same experience only difference was me I was older but even with new team members it was the same experience. I referred him to many of my friends, family and coworkers because they saw my progress and he changed their lives for the better back in 2016 .and they experienced the same love that I did from the him and his amazing team he is truly an asset to the hospital along with his amazing team I thank God for guiding and guarding his mind and hands. Lori was the Rn that prepped me prior to surgery this year and her spirit was so amazing and she has been in the field for over 20 years and she is as pleasant as ever. Thank you again Dr. Munroe and team continue to be a blessing for others and I pray that everyone has continued success in...

Read moreHe’s arrogant and doesn’t listen. If you must go to Jewett, Dr Levy is the person you want…. Unfortunately, Dr Monroe did too much damage for Dr Levy to safely help me. Now I get to travel the country trying to find a surgeon to fix the damage. They all ask for previous records and gasp loudly when they see what this guy did to me. I have no issues spreading his name far and wide!!! It didn’t have to be this way if only he would listen. Apparently, he thinks I’m some idiot who is retired in FL, when in reality, I’m a Television Director who, up until this injury, worked all the time. I was in FL where my parents live when I fell and broke my kneecap. I wish so much I had been in Los Angeles instead and I’d most likely wouldn’t be in this situation. I really dislike him. I’m giving him 3 stars instead of ONE which is what I’d give him but I do thing he’s probably a fine “surgeon” if it’s just the basics. I hope he learned something about Arthrofibrosis at least and doesn’t do a MUA on anyone...
