I got the majority of my flock here at Palmer Feed. There was this one staff member that helped me pick out my first chickens. It’s been around 3 years since I got my first hens and rooster and I couldn’t love them more. One thing is don’t go in there expecting to find a “show” chicken, these are just chickens for your flock. I had bought silkies and they are awesome but they don’t work for 4-H shows unless you keep breeding them. My chickens are docile and I love them a lot. I would definitely recommend this place not only because it has these types of livestock but because it offers several other things like, scratch, water bowls, stuff for dogs, plants, ducks, super big roosters, eggs, chicks, cages and the list goes on. So if you’re a first time owner to chickens and have no flipping heck what you’re doing go here and they will get you all sorted out. Very friendly staff too I bet you’ll probably find what you are looking for whether it’s a...
Read moreGreat store ,oustanding customer service they will go out their way to meet your needs lady there helped me several times with my chickens and Canary needs if she didn't know certain things she would Google it and come up with a better plan as far as feeding to get my Canary's to breed ,granted they didn't have alot of supplies for Canary's but overall had alot of info and supplies for gardening that I enjoyed. Love the livestock they have sometimes you might find interesting looking chickens and nise looking roosters. They should carry the no crow collars considering alot of people would like to have a rooster in the city area but not the crow part of it . Great...
Read moreI was definitely not expecting a feed store like this in 'the middle' of Orlando! We were greeted by a very friendly employee, Mike, who helped us find what we came for and gave us a tour of the place. You usually don't think of needing a tour of a feed store, but this place was definitely unique! They had goats, a mini cow, and mini donkeys (I think not for sale) but also chickens in a whole coop, muscovy ducks, and even show pigeons! I'm not sure I've ever seen so many fancy breeds of pigeons before. It was amazing. They also had a lot of growing seeds and feed seeds (like for wild or domestic birds), and seemed to even sell some dog...
