The nearby swan boats offer a unique way to relax alone, as a couple or family, while taking in the nature surrounding Lake Eola, the waterfowl, and the city line and architecture. The city boasts a wonderfully diverse selection of restaurants and there is very little traffic, especially considering it’s a CITY. Finding parking near the Swan boat rental pavilion and amphitheater was easy and inexpensive. Boat rental is $14/half hour, per boat, regardless of how many people and each boat seats up to 5 passengers. Pro tip - put the exercise enthusiasts in the two front seats so they can pedal! Read moreI loved Lake Eola. Great place for a power walk. Or stroll around and enjoy beautiful nature, Ducks, swans, and other fowl. There's also several Restaurants around the lake. It's a 1 mile walk around the lake. Very nice wide paved walkway. It is not for bicyclists or skaters. This is strictly for people walking or even jogging.
