I was staying in downtown Orlando and stopped by this coffee shop past weekend as it's 2 minutes walk from where I was. First, I ordered peanut butter chocolate smoothie but was told they are out of it. Then, I ordered a frozen caramel frappe. Not sure why as the drink is $7.5, I added $1 tips, was charged over $12 for one single drink to go. The drink was a small size,12 oz.
And the service was extremely slow, waited 15 minutes or more to get my drink, considering there was no people at the time.
I stay by here often, would not recommend. Way overpriced and the frappe was blah.
I enjoy coffee â very much and if for $12 drink for a 12 oz, it better be Italian hand grinded tasty coffee .
Not so sure about the accuracy of previous reviews. I was excited to go but very disappointed. Yet I do agree it's a convenient location.
_______updates below: after owner's feedback
My drink didn't have any addition besides just the plain basic caramel frappe.
Thank you for taking my feedback into consideration and find out what happened to improve management of the cafe. Like the server's performance, and the waiting time, and what happened with the bill (As I mentioned there was no other people ordering at the time, yet I understand it could be other online orders the kitchen is preparing.)
And the best coffee isn't the one grinded by the manufacturer. Yet it's freshly grinded right before making the expresso. â Most coffee machines do that in cafe.
Yes, ambience is important. I may just have a bad experience that day at your Cafe, and it could also be just that frappe. The mistake from the cafe overcharging? Or maybe the cafe does need improvement in management.
Thank you...
Read morei recently went to eat with my friend and we were super excited to eat here cause from the photos it looked really cute. I did love the setup it was very cute and aesthetic however the food wasnât very good. I had an avocado toast and the avocado didnât really taste good. It tasted not very fresh and had no salt or anything. The service wasnât amazing either. I didnt expect it to be just like a restaurant but the waitress didnt do a bunch and was a bit rude. My friend didnât want to tip her cause there was no service really being done which I think is fair. When she looked and saw she didnât give her any tip she said was it not good? I understand that tipping is super important in the food business, but it was uncalled for to ask up front. The (what i assume to be the owner or at least manager) and the waitress were right in front of our table and were just chitchatting which I think wasnât really appropriate. I know itâs a small place but if youâre doing it right in front of a table I think thatâs kind of ridiculous. Also for one avocado toast and fries and a coke was 27 dollars which is very pricey for the food that was offered. Especially cause I didnât even eat the avocado toast and barely ate the fries cause it was not good. Lastly, if you have a strictly outdoor cafe I would hope you would have accommodations to any type of weather for example when I was there it was extremely cold and in addition they had a fan running which made it even colder especially being in front of a lake. It was a cute looking place but overall didnât have...

Thank you for taking the time to respond and for your suggestions and future recommendations. However, as my boyfriend and I are passionate about food, we researched before our visit, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. My review reflects our personal experience, which I hope others wonât have to endure. We were eager to enjoy the meal, but while the presentation was appealing, the taste fell short. Adding to our disappointment, it didnât seem fair that we were expected to tip our server before any service was even provided. To no surprise, after paying and tipping, our server was nowhere to be found. She dropped off our drinks and food and never checked on us again. Thatâs not service. It feels like restaurants want to get more for doing less. Reviews are often written when an experience leaves a lasting impression, and unfortunately, this one did for all the wrong reasons. It's important for businesses to value customer feedback, as loyal, returning customers are essential to long...
