Horrible, tasteless bland dinner. She blamed our personal conversation as making her presentation impossible. I'm sure she was disappointed we didn't make additional purchases. All she used was basic balsamic vinegar.

I know your responses are to cover yourself. We asked what your most flavorful balsamic vinegar was and requested to try it. You didn't use it. You told us the appetizer was made for another meal and you added to it...which makes it a leftover. Your back was to us most of the time. When asked about the the lack of flavor , we asked for seasoning and salt. Your response of not using salt to cook the pasta was to keep peoples health needs such as high blood pressure in mind. You are really good at excuses. Bottom line is that the educational part was not fun and interactive. When a wrong answer was given, you made it so it wasnt even fun to guess. The dinner part was so overpriced and horrible. $30 per person at a restaurant gets you a very nice meal. Add the puppy pad with urine in the bathroom...yuk. If there was a zero star...cuz 1 star is...

Happened to be driving by and saw the sign for an Olive Oil shop... What a gem of a store; first, let me say the customer service experience was above and beyond my expectations. We were greeted by two sales associates who offered us oils and vinegars to sample by our own explanations of what we were looking for. ie. likes and dislikes. I love to cook with olive oil and was looking to purchase oils that are not blended, ones that are only made in one country. Yes, I found two oils, one for cooking and one to use for salad dressing. Vinegar... who knew how many vinegars there are... I needed up with two flavors to add to my water bottle and for salads

Price wise ... I was pleasantly surprised too, the final cost of my finds.. very reasonable. I have friends who are foodies, and once I find the perfect salad bowl; pasta bowls, or woven basket, I'll be back to fill for Christmas...

Previously, this has been my go-to for many occasions. I have put aside the haughty attitude of the owners in the past and focused on their products. Last week when shopping in DeLand, which has a mandatory mask mandate, the owners were not wearing masks. I was wearing a mask, as were at least 3 other shoppers. There were several people in the store at the time. At the register I quietly inquired why the staff was not wearing masks. He told me “we use hand sanitizer and anyway we social distance” in a louder than necessary tone. When I shared that we were closer proximity than 6 feet, he reiterated that they use hand sanitizer and it was unnecessary to wear a mask. Covid is contracted by AIR molecules. Hand sanitizer does little to stop the spread. Follow CDC guidelines. Let’s get back to normal and end this pandemic. I will also avoid their Ormond...
