Definitely a fun experience to do on your own, with some friends, or to book for a Private Party. There are so many projects to choose from and even themed nights with different types of projects throughout the month. You DO NOT have to be crafty to leave with a successful and beautiful completed project. Merissa and her team are energetic, knowledgeable, and super helpful. You can BYOB and bring snacks along. There are also loyalty rewards points you can earn where you can work toward a free project!

Pro-tips for a newbie . . . (1) The more words in your project, the more stressful it CAN become. If you want to ease into things pick a project with larger font and/or less words.

(2) Consider your color scheme before you go (you'll make the most of your time).

(3) Everything is fixable and the team is always ready to jump in and assist.

So I have mixed reviews, I came with my mom and the projects were adorable and well planned out, I also loved the concept of the class! The only thing I would change or do differently is the tone of voice in which the instructor spoke to me and energy that she and some of the staff gave off in dealing with the participants. I know from personal experience that teaching a class is like herding kittens so I don't expect her to treat me like her BFF but I certainly did not expect her to demean me and speak to me in such a condescending manner. My daughter and I had a wonderful time here at Board and Brush. Last night was our third visit and again we left with really nice crafts, this time Halloween decorations. It was our third visit as we make a point of going each time I'm in Tucson. The owner, Merissa, is friendly, high energy and knowledgeable.
