My usual salon was closed and I needed to get a pedi, so after looking at reviews I decided to try Neat Nails. My experience was awful! Despite having an appointment, I had to wait about 10-15 minutes before a tech started on my feet. Usually this isnāt a big deal as I would at least be soaking my feet, but the water was ice cold. When I asked them to warm it up a bit, it was then turned on to scalding hot. It took several more minutes before I could even put my feet in. A gentleman sat down to do my pedi. He was very rough and just started cutting my toenails (this is a first as Iāve always had the techs ask if Iād like them trimmed). As he started I asked him to please not cut them too short as I didnāt want to get ingrown. He huffed and said thatās not what causes ingrowns. A few toes in, he cut me. When I said ouch he just gave me an annoyed look. As he did my cuticles he was pulling more than cutting so that was unpleasant. The āmassageā was not well done either. At this point I just wanted the whole experience to be over. Looking back I should have asked for someone else to take over but hindsight is 20-20. We departed the next day on an international vacation. After lots of walking I realized that he cut my toenails straight across, causing one to cut into another toe as I walked. I had on tennis shoes that Iāve worn many other times before without incident. Unfortunately I wasnāt in a position to stop and trim the toenail so it had to deal with the pain and resulting bleeding until I was able to find clippers and round off the nails. The rest of the trip my toe was sore and I was worried about infection as we were on a beach, in rivers, etc. This was the worst pedi Iāve ever had. Also when walking in, the salon initially looked tidy but as I sat there I noticed that it definitely wasnāt the cleanest place. Would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a negative experience here. I asked for gel french tips, and the color she used for the base was this horrible dark orange that didnāt look good at all, and then did the white tip EXTREMELY THIN. Like ridiculously thin. I told her on the first nail that I did not like it, and asked to switch the color and make the line thicker. She said āthicker?ā And I said yes I wanted more of a line and I didnāt like the color. She completely ignored me and continued. After she did a hand, I stopped her and said I did not like it. She told me I shouldāve gotten acrylics if I wanted nice French tips, and I told her I didnāt like how thin it was (itās never been a problem before) and that Iād just rather do a simple sheer color. She became very upset. She was huffing and sighing very heavily and speaking very angrily, and then really aggressively took my nails off, I asked her several times to be gentle because it was hurting me. Anyways, hereās my ātoo short of nailsā for French tips, with the very spotty and clumpy painting job she did, and every single finger was cut. I just hoping I donāt get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had my nails on for only 5 days I did them the 23rd I paid $78 and $11 tip and on the 27th I noticed my nails began to lift. I even asked won't these nails lift with this thickness I asked for only slightly just a little and I mean little extra in the middle. I was told no they won't I ask for extra bond because of what I do for a living she dabbed I reminded I like extra bond it went unnoticed she was talking to another women who was in training. I asked for coffin I got ballerina similar but my where way more pointed instead of square coffin. Well today the 29th I'm left with 4 missing nails and the rest are lifted and almost ready to come off. I made an attempt to communicate but this is the second time I've had a bad experience here. I want to think she is good and in the past she has been great but this isn't right. And to try and make it right she wants to rebuild and charge me! She has a 7 day policy well that wasn't offered here your coming up with other offers at a cost no thanks! I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. This...
