Buyer beware- NO returns for unworn items.
I really hate leaving this place a bad review as I shop here frequently. However, as a small local business owner myself, the owner is 100% wrong about this.
I purchased an off the rack black suit from this store, and had no alterations done. All original tags and packaging are present- suit was never worn outside of trying on in store.
I decided I do not like the black, and would prefer a different color. I requested to exchange the suit for one that I would more enjoy wearing- not a refund, simply an exchange of an unworn, unaltered suit.
The owner said absolutely no exchanges whatsoever. Didn’t even take the time to listen to my concerns.
This is an insane way to do business as a “local” retailer in 2025.
The staff is friendly, and the item quality is marginally acceptable for Owensboro, but if your mind isn’t 100% made up, don’t buy from here as you will be stuck with it.
My advice- stick to the tried and true Owensboro men’s stores that value and prioritize the customer over greed and profits.
If you’re looking for menswear, try the Earle, Byron & Barclay, or J.J. Fosters for a more customer forward and friendly experience.

While I appreciate you saying now you would exchange this suit, I no longer have faith in this establishment and will no shop here.
I stopped in 3 days in a row as your staff instructed me to discuss the matter with you, and finally called where they had told me they spoke to you personally and that they were told to relay the message that there would be no exchange under any circumstances.
You can call it a misunderstanding, and that’s fine, there are three sides to every story, but the fact remains that I didn’t get any sort of assistance with this matter until I left a negative review, and that just doesn’t sit right with me, and is not how I would want to operate as a small business owner myself.
However, it does appear you have taken the situation and turned it into a positive one by instructing your staff to ask your customers for positive reviews.
While I am out hundreds of dollars for a suit I simply won’t ever wear, I am choosing to turn it into a positive experience and donate it to those in need.
I only wish that it didn’t take a public negative google review to get a response from someone regarding this matter, especially after being told to come to the store to talk to you personally and everyday I did for 3 days in a row I was told “oh sorry Noah isn’t here,” and finally to be told on the phone “no under any circumstances.”
I think you can further use this opportunity to polish your unclear return policies and train your staff, and possibly you can avoid this issue in the future.
