My family enjoyed the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History! It is most impressive as one of the oldest of its kind in the United States. The museum staff were friendly and greeted us at the door. Admission prices were very reasonable. There are hands-on activities and programs for kids to do throughout the museum, which is great as you generally cannot touch items. My children drew birds, participated in a scavenger hunt, dug for fossils, and counted pollinators. They also have a small gift shop on site for the perfect souvenir. I think my son’s favorite part was the coloring and being able to see the live size taxidermy animals. My favorite part was the bird section and the upstairs. If you are visiting the area. It is a must see! Also, don't forget to pick something up from their gift shop section. We got some cool posters. Lastly, the gal at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. My son and I had...
