Strictly speaking 3.5 star. The lemon ricotta pancake was excellent, one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. That dish single handedly kept the final score up. The other 2 dishes were ok but forgettable. My biggest problem with the restaurant was the service, mostly the person who was responsible for seating. We put our name on the sign in sheet and specified we have a dog with us. I guessed I should have spelled out we need to seat outside. Anyway, we were waiting in the cold for quite a while when the girl came out to ask around to see if any party would seat outside to avoid longer wait. For some unknown reason she skipped over our group all together. She even talked to a group that came after us and didn’t bother to register. When I tried to get her attention she was not too happy. Unfortunately the story didn’t end there. She proceeded to seat the 2 groups, both came after us. I was walking away before she finally get us a table. If it were not my company, I would have kept walking. There were other mishaps but I’m ok if those were...
Read moreOur family of 6 (4 children) was very happy, comfortable, and satisfied. The staff was soooo helpful and kind to the kids. The atmosphere was lovely and casual. We arrived about 8:30 on a Monday and were seated right away. My husband loved the corned beef hash. I had the Tres Leches French Toast, which was great, but next time I'm getting the standard French toast that I watched my son eat. My other son had the chicken and waffles, and that was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. One of my daughters had the Nutella French toast and cleared the plate, so it must have been good. The other daughter had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. She was the only one with leftovers, but only because it was so plentiful. She said it had a very rich flavor. My mocha was very good, made fresh at the espresso machine across the room and presented...

I am a breakfast snob and am so glad I found this place. I had the Lemon & Ricotta pancakes. WOW. My hubby had the hearty plate with 2 eggs, sausage, PERFECTLY crisp and salted potatoes and a beautiful biscuit plus a side of crispy perfect bacon. So siimple but soooo yummy thanks to their care to details.
It is close quarters, so you'll need to be comfy with tight tables and close quarters. Also, we initially chose the place because it had outdoor seating and we wanted to bring our dog. However, it was a bit drizzly so we decided to leave the dog in the car. Worked out fine because there was only 1 large and two 2 seater sidewalk tables. All occupied at the time of our arrival.
Service was fine. Nothing notable, but certainly nice people. The ambiance and food bring me to...
