I find Peppers to be a bipolar restaurant experience. The first time I went there I got a smoked gouda quesadilla and it was fantastic. I also got an enchilada and burrito combo. The rice was a bit bland for Spanish rice but the combo was very good. I go a second time and the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the exact same thing the second time and all the items were consistently worse than the previous time. The quesadilla that was cheesy and decadent, was a massive pile of grilled onions with the cheese very sparingly used. I decided to give them another try assuming the cook was different, or just having a bad night. I had another try at the same order and it was great again. So being a creature of habit when I order food. I try a 4th time to order the same meal. Must have been the wrong day to go, because the food was not great. I have ordered to go most of the times I have ordered food at Peppers. The last time I tried to order food. The person answering the phone told me we were very busy today and we are not taking any to go orders. I just tried to order food again today and was told once again "we are so busy, we are not taking ti go orders". Why advertise that you have take out, but not sell it when you are busy? I guess I need to schedule my meal around when Peppers is not too busy to cook food. Anyway good luck to all the patrons of Peppers that you happen to go on...
Read moreWe have been here multiple times and have loved the food but the service we had here on Thursday night was UNACCEPTABLE. We brought multiple people with us to show them our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area and sat on the patio. One person arrived late and put their order in 10 minutes after all of us did. When our food was brought out much later (I get it it's busy we were okay with that) one person at the table did not get there food for at least 10 mins if not longer than the rest of us. The person who was 10 minutes late to putting in their order waited OVER AN HOUR to get their food finally in a to go box because all of us had already left the restaurant because we were long done with our meal. Multiple people contacted our server and any wait staff we could find during this hour and kept getting told we are waiting on the kitchen, their order got buried (clearly forgotten about). This person didn't even want their meal anymore and wanted to leave but we already paid for their meal so they waited to get it. I called the manager next day on Friday she was supposed to call me back at 4pm never did. It is now Sunday and I still have not heard back. I will NEVER come here again and tell anyone to go to this restaurant. The service...
Read moreDisappointed. I recently visited Peppers, a Mexican restaurant that I used to enjoy, and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed. The food was incredibly bland and tasted like it had been sitting around for days. It was clear that the quality of the restaurant had declined significantly since my last visit.
To make matters worse, the menu prices did not match the charges on my bill. I was shocked at how much I ended up paying for such low-quality food. The customer service was also severely lacking, with the staff seeming uninterested in our dining experience.
The long wait for our food only added to our disappointment. When it finally arrived, it was clear that the kitchen had not put any effort into seasoning it. The portions were small and disappointing, making me feel like I had wasted my money on a meal that was on par with what I could have gotten at a chain restaurant like Applebee's.
Overall, I would not recommend Peppers to anyone looking for a good Mexican dining experience. The food is lackluster, the service is poor, and the prices are unjustified. Save your money and go somewhere else. They are living on their past fame, They are way past their prime and...
