I had a few minutes to swing by this and wish I had a bit longer and it wasn't so hot to view longer.

The wall is pretty long and each painting looks beautiful. Each paining had a nice plaque to give you some info about it.

There was a nice commuter lot rigbt near the beginning of the wall itself.

They had aome scaffolding in front of a few displays paintings so some folks were painting on one when I was there.

I stopped here right after metropolis illinois and the superman museum thats less the 20 minutes away from the wall to wall.

I would give yourself a few hours to wonder down the wall..and even around the few blocks in the town. The small area you drive thru and around near the display looks like a nice place for locals to gather and have lunch.

Next time im near I will take a little longer to enjoy the display longer.

Driving over from Illinois i crossed over on the Paducah Brookport Bridge

Let me tell ya driving that small rental car with 14" rims really made for the drive on that kinda scary.

I made it thru..and it will be very memorable for the rest of my life.

Along with seeing this flood wall and the...

Paducah's amazing diverse role in so many aspects of Kentucky and U.S. history is showcased in these large painted outdoor wall murals with their narrative plaques and authentic U S mail railroad-car display. On the riverfront, they are a pleasant leisurely stroll through time and space on an easy-walking street. Behind them stretches the magnificent, scenic Ohio River offering it's own glory and panoramas. Fantastic photo opportunities, peaceful area, ample parking, right in downtown. A do-not-miss 5-Stars landmark to fully appreciate this humble 4-Rivers town along the Lewis & Clark Expedition Trail to the Pacific Ocean and the river-route Trail of Years to Oklahoma, that also hosted 3 queens....

Great for an evening stroll! Beautifully created murals depicting the history and heritage of Paducah KY. My wife and I stopped and viewed several of the murals and enjoyed views of the river. A full size stream engine is here as well. There were areas to sit and benches in the river side, many folks enjoying the serving relaxing. Lovely place, well kept and clean. A river boat was docked when we were there!
