We had an incredible experience here! We came with our three kids ages 5, 7 and 9 on a rest day from skiing. This was our first escape room ever and all the kids were reluctant to do it. The friendly greeting and introduction we got put them at ease immediately. They loved solving the puzzles and I was pleased that this was truly age appropriate for all of our kids.

We did the eighties room and it was very thoughtful and well done. Help was available when we needed it and they were so kind to give us some leniency on time as we worked through it with our kids. We will definitely be back here to try the other rooms. They have set the bar very high for any future escape rooms we try with the level of care they put into the room and...

We tried the Escape the Eighties room, and it was a blast. We (3 of us) finished with just over a minute to go.

The puzzles were just the right amount of difficulty for us (although we did end up using 4 hints).

The lady running the puzzle rooms was very nice, and she makes all the puzzles herself!

Definitely worth the time and money.

We plan on trying another room on our next visit to Pagosa.

Update: This trip we tackled "The Inheritance" (finished with 6:24 left) and "Zombie Apocalypse" (finished with 32 seconds left!!!).

Always a blast. We look forward to our next trip to Pagosa Springs, and some new escape...

I had a fantastic experience at Pagosa Escape Zone! The rooms are incredibly creative and offer a unique atmosphere that stands apart from typical corporate escape rooms. My family tried the "Escape the 80s" and "Zombie Apocalypse" rooms, and we had a great mix of challenges and fun. We can’t wait to go back for the "Da Vinci’s Quest For The Holy Grail" room!

The Pagosa Escape Zone was absolutely a fantastic experience! The Uptown location themed after Forrest Fenn treasure riddle was really great and has some great puzzles! We enjoyed that one so much we booked the Downtown location for later the same day which is themed in the 1980's. This room is "totally rad!" One of the highlights was explaining how to work some of the technology in the room to our 15 daughter and 12 year son. This also has some great puzzles too. Tone, the owner, told she will be moving to a new location in the future and adding a third room. When we come to Pagosa again we are definitely stopping in to escape!

We decided that we'd take a break from skiing for the day and try something new. Three of us had been to Escape Rooms in our home town, and one of us hadn't. We decided to try the Pagosa Escape Zone and we are all glad that we did!! The staff is extra friendly, the room is not intimidating, and the puzzles are appropriately challenging. The Pagosa Escape Zone is a fantastic experience for all ages - we all highly recommend it!!

This Escape Room was really fun! There were 2 kids and 2 adults and we did the Da Vinci room. It looked really simple when we got into the room, but it was actually very challenging! The rush to finish and the exciting music definitely got my adrenaline pumping!! Antoinette the owner is very friendly and helpful and made the experience memorable. This is a great family adventure and I recommend everyone visiting Pagosa Springs go to the Escape Room.
