Stopped in on the way back from a trip to Salt Lake. The kids really wanted to go on a tractor tour. In spite of a different 7 generational farm advertising daily farm tours on their website, when we showed up, we learned they weren't available except one day a week. This was frustrating, but the story didn't end there.
We took a chance on the Peach Shack after driving by and seeing the tractor in the parking lot. The super friendly farm stand staffer, Mike, was at the Shack and texted the owners to see if they might come in; despite the farmer brothers being off. The first brother wasn't able to make it, but the other brother, Aaron, swooped in to make it happen! I couldn't believe the dedication to dropping his plans simply for our little family of 4. This might not be one of the big generational farmers of the area, but I can assure you they hold the keys to Palisades' future. I am so grateful for their willingness to share their love for farming...

This was our first time visiting the Western Slope, and we knew we absolutely had to try the famous Palisade peaches. We are so glad we chose the Palisade Peach Shack! The experience was perfect from start to finish. The service was simply amazing. The woman working at the stand was incredibly friendly, nice, and so helpful. She took the time to walk through all the different peach varieties they offer, showing us all the wonderful local products they had, from jams and salsas made right there, to delicious-looking honey. I was so impressed that I ended up buying a whole case of peaches, and I have a strong feeling it won't be nearly enough! They are absolutely incredible. We're already planning our next trip back for more. If you're looking for the quintessential Palisade peach experience with fantastic, welcoming service, this is the place to go! Oh, I almost forgot, absolute amazing apricots,...
Read moreI visited a pop up market near the highland ranch, Co area recently. I told the lady that I do not eat peaches but can she help me pick them out. I paid for the peaches and some jams. I told her I will be back bc I needed to pick up another order. When I returned, she handed me a bag of peaches in the am. I notice the peaches were mushy and leaking through the bag when i made it to my next destination. I came back to this shop a few hours later to inform the staff of the issue and hopefully exchange the bad peaches for good ones. The staff members were so nasty and disrespectful. They made every excuse on why the peaches leaked. They told me I left the peaches in the car and/or dropped them. The white lady had to demonstrate how I dropped the peaches. The hispanic lady said that will give me a refund. The white lady said she ain't giving me nothing because the bad peaches were my fault. Save your money and...
