Truly a spectacular outdoor mall, I don't think there is an outdoor mall anywhere else in Miami, but I could be wrong. It's called the Falls, because as you walk around, there's a lot of small bodies of water with rock formations and waterfalls.
Now you know where they got their name from!
Bloomingdale's used to be here for a very long time, but now Lifetime, that very high-end gym, is located in its place. They have a very good variety of stores, a good eclectic variety of restaurants. The parking is excellent, given that they actually have a small two story parking garage, as well as a standard open parking lot with plenty of space
. I would recommend everyone to either park on the North side or the West side of the Falls complex. Most people park on the East side, and that's where it tends to get a little bit full.
⭐ Updated the day before Thanksgiving 2025 - you know this mall closes at 8:00 p.m. officially, and the security is there enforced to try to make everyone leave. You got some of the restaurants have hours that are in direct opposition to the closing hours of the mall, which is something very strange.
The Falls starts coming alive on Thursday night. Even at 8:30 p.m. on a Thursday night, there was still amount of decent people there. I noticed that the Regal Bistro cinemas, which are closed and have been closed for some time because they're being renovated, they're making a lot of advertisements about it because I believe that they are going to open the cinema on the same day that they release that movie called "Wicked". In the cinemas are going to be the same type as the ones in Coconut Grove and which you can order food and it's going to have a full bar and basically it's an experience, it's not just sitting there and watching a movie, it's sitting there, being served and watching a movie. I really like this outdoor mall because you get to enjoy God's creation.. even though it's in its Fallen state, that's beautiful to roam around this Open Door Mall, especially during these cooler months in Miami. Dadeland Mall does not even come close, because daylight mall is obviously enclosed. There's just something about walking in an outdoor mall that is absolutely wonderful. They have holiday music playing had a very nice low volume, not too loud, but not too dismal that you cannot hear. As far as the cleanliness goes, the bathrooms are spic and span Karma I see the cleaning ladies working their butts off, and I think they should get a raise. I've heard that many of them are trying to organize and become part of a large Union, which is what the City of Coral Gables cleaning personnel, I don't know what category they fall under, RN negotiations right now as I speak with the City of Coral Gables to become a member of the union, I don't remember the name of the union, I remember seeing an article recently about this.
Of course if management is reading this, they're going to get freaked out. But oh well, just adjust your budget and you'll be fine.
I took some pictures of the newest advertisements in the mall about the Regal Bistro Cinemas opening very soon.. ✨ I stand corrected, I guess the movie Wicked has already come out on the 21st, and although Regal Cinemas was advertising that they were going to open the same day as the movie release, obviously this is not the case. So I don't know when Regal Cinemas Bistro is...
Read moreWell first things first, there's nothing special about this mall. Their employees are very rude and follow you around the whole mall harassing you. You would think that with the falls being an outdoor mall they would be pet friendly. However, that's not the case here. I have 1 service dog which is my fiances and 1 emotional dog that's mines. I usually don't bring them to areas where I know dogs shouldn't be. Such as Grocery stores, kitchen and cooking stores, any restaurants unless outside seating is available and I always make sure to ask if they are pet friendly ahead of showing up. I figured with the falls or what I like to call them ass "the trash" would be pet friendly considering it's an outdoors mall. Most outdoors mall are pet friendly. I live in Naples where mostly all malls indoors and outdoors are pet friendly. Some stores even have dog bowls in front of their stores. However, this mall is awful. All have you know!!! ITS ILLEGAL TO ASK SOMEONE IF THEIR PET IS A SERVICE. And I quote "It is illegal under Federal law for anyone to require documentation of a team. Many disabled individuals choose to provide a vest for their Service Dog and/or carry identification, however it is not required that they do. You may encounter a disabled individual who chooses to keep their disability private." if I really wanted to I could sue simons mall. Both my dogs were both on leases and both kept very close to us and away from anybody. They had no reasonable reason to ask. They were well behaved and I'm sure the cameras all around the mall will prove that. I came into this mall looking forward to spending big bucks on shopping. I very much enjoy shopping and I would almost consider it a hobby. However, I was treated so rudely that I decided to use the restroom (which by the way are very dirty and stinky) and grab my dogs and take my business elsewhere. You guys have offially lost a valued long time customer. I will also be...
Read moreI applied and got the approval on October 1st, 2018. Due to school activities for my son, my family and I decided not to move to the Falls at marina bay on October 2nd. According the information and rules provided by Jason Brown, we would received the refund within 3 weeks. So, when I called Jason on October 25th to follow up, he said I should receive our refund anytime soon in October. The place looks nice and the staff seemed friendly, respectful and very diligent to process our application. Sadly, it seems they are taking more than expected to follow their own deadline process, as I have not received my corresponding refund yet. I will update the outcome of this experience as a guide for those who are looking for a serious place to rent.
Nov 6, 2018 I stopped by The Falls on Sunday Nov 3rd to follow up why my refund is taking longer than expected. Ms. Karin tried to find out on Monday and so did Jason today Tuesday. Sadly, it seems like the corresponding office dpt takes a while also to answer to their own staff. Jason offered to call me today Tuesday Nov 6 with any information, but it never happened.
Nov 7, 2018 Ms. Karin, from the Falls, called me today to inform that they had just emailed me my check!!! This is the customer service that I expected to receive. The Falls management should be happy to count on Karin who showed her intention to help me despite I was not her client at the beginning. I highly recommend Ms. Karin due to her efforts to assist clients not only to rent the place but also to assist solving the issues. Hopefully, The Falls management realize Ms. Karin's attempt to strive their...
