The events and experiences ran by Panama City Center for the Arts are always amazing and a wonderful asset to the downtown community. They’re also kid friendly which makes a huge difference to parents like me who want to find things for their toddler to do. The inside of the building is beautiful and I love the encouragement of artists in our community as well as young artists too (like the Paul Brent exhibit for elementary schoolers to participate in). 10/10 :)

Pretty cool art center. Not loads of art so you won't be overwhelmed but there's lots of different pieces scattered all over- don't forget the gift shop to look at art. They have a gorgeous Christmas themed in the holiday season. When we were there, the second floor had art from one artist, trying to sell overpriced nothing. Everything except the special exhibit upstairs was fantastic. The statues upstairs are pretty cool though

We had a good time at the May The Fourth Be With You celebration!!! We made lightsabers. Went on a Yoda scavenger hunt and lightsaber training among other things. There was a wonderful show put on with Star wars characters and battle. Thank you so much!!

Panama City Center for the ARTS is a MUST SEE! No matter if you are just visiting or if you live here. In addition to their inspiring art exhibits by local and national artists, they entertain with musical concerts, film festivals, show movies and much more! You can take classes to learn to paint, sculpt, make jewelry, photography, write poetry and the list goes on!! Located in the heart of our beautiful downtown it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping and even our gorgeous marina!! Walking into The Center for the ARTS you are transported to diverse cultures and artistic enrichment! When you leave you will take with you a new awareness of the talent and artistic culture our town has to offer!! I love this place and it always keeps me coming back for more!! It isn't always the same old thing every time you go, which is the beauty of The Center. Your experiences there will be ever changing and stimulating!! So, it's not a "been there, seen that" place to visit, it is a "been there, going back!" cultural...

NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY..... As wonderful as the location was, we will never recommend or be back. An hour before our event ended the young lady at the counter would continuously come by every 15 minutes and tap her watch. Rushing us out the door, we were forced to leave alcohol behind. Not only was she rude, but she was also extremely unprofessional, trapsing through our event to go to the kitchen like she owned the place. While making gestures and comments to our guests, she would scold the event coordinator. We should have guessed this is how the event would unfold when we paid the deposit. Never have I been to a place that would not refund your money in the event of a natural disaster. Great location, but the girl at the front desk (don't remember her name) needs some hospitality training and a change...

Ever since I have been volunteering here, I've seen nothing but motivation, determination, and hard work out into this place. From the staff I've seen care and sincereity in the art. And from the lead director of the Center for the Arts, Mrs. Kim White, I've seen patience and dedication. The downtown Panama City, Center for the arts, in my eyes, is a landmark. The art defines the culture of Panama City. And adds to more culture of downtown itself. I would say the Art center is the heart of downtown and is well deserving of donations and the support to keep its doors open. I predict nothing but growth for downtown as long as this place is there. Well reserved and...
