Gallery of Art 850 — Attraction in Panama City

Kim and Mark are the best people to run and operate this beloved gallery. They give back to the community and thensome. They have been open for a short time but have accomplished so much in such time. They offer mulit art contest throughout the year which I love. These two are made to do this and they support local artist . The best way to check it all out is to go to their website to see what's going on at that time. There is always something happening at the gallery. They also offer certain classes and sit ins from musicians and other artist in the area as well. The space is a kind and welcoming environment. I found this place because of a online advertising for entrees for a photography contest. I didn't think I would make the cut but I did. My photograph plus others were selected by judges to be placed in the gallery for a month. I felt so honored. When I submitted my photography I was greeted with a smile and a welcome from Kim My two boys were with me and she took the time to show them art pieces and to give me time to fill out paperwork for the contest. This is a gorgeous studio. It was clean and inviting. The natural light comes through the windows during the daytime. And the gallery is downtown Panama City. Kim is a very helpful and kind soul. Longtime friends and artists, Kim Griffin White & Mark White recommended Gallery of Art to me and a week later I became a frequent visitor. During my first visit I met two local artists, connected with an area college student that was volunteering, and bought some great prints & stained glass. Most recently I stopped in to look for a birthday gift and found the perfect card and 3D printed earrings! I already plan to have some art I recently commissioned stretched and framed there this week and am looking forward to their upcoming events!
