The Sapp House — Attraction in Panama City

The Sapp House was a picturesque and perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception on March 13th, 2022. Alicia and the staff made our day more spectacular from start to finish. The front porch provided a beautiful backdrop and adequate space for minister, bride and groom and six attendees for the ceremony while 60 guests viewed from the lawn towards the beautiful rose bushes and pillars on the porch. The front porch also provided staging for my daughters to sing during the ceremony. The porch swing makes a great photo as well of bride and groom. The upstairs bridal rooms with gigantic antique mirrors and chaises as well as the natural light in the makeup room added to the uniqueness of this venue. The multi-tiered staircase is a perfect picture backdrop for any bride with a cathedral length gown. The outdoor patio is great for a band and dancing (check out the patio in person as it is bigger than it appears in pictures). The back lawn is well maintained and tables are arranged for pictures to be accented by the historic home and oak trees. I loved being able to see everything come together on the lawn while peeking in from the upstairs makeup room. I was planning on scheduling my wedding at The Sapp house. Initially, I had zero issues when it came to communication. I then pushed back my wedding, and they asked me to reach out in a few months. When I reached back out, it took 7 days to get a follow up email, and then they changed the pricing in my contract (which they later said was new policy). I emailed for clarification, and when they responded they said they were willing to honor my initial contract, but it took them 4 days to follow up with that email. I understand it’s a popular venue and they can be busy, but I’ve had several wedding planners tell me that it should not take a week to get a response from a venue, therefore I decided to go elsewhere with more reliable communication. I was recommended the Sapp House by a family member for our marriage celebration. I am so glad we chose the Sapp house for our party, the owners of the Sapp house have been more than accommodating. They really did go above and beyond to help us be successful in throwing an amazing surprise gender reveal on top of our wedding celebration. They are very professional and are quick to respond to messages, calls, and needs related to updating rental equipment. They are very easy to work with and we look forward to hosting future parties at this site.
