Amazing and so informative! The time from 10am-6pm flew by. Break down of why this deserves 5 stars:

Instructors Sarge, Stephanie, and Chuck all provide a very serious level of overview for the implications with conceal carry with personal anecdotes and real world potential scenarios to drill in the message The class was almost exactly 50/50 male to female ratio and one of the main instructors, Stephanie, had the best balance for first impressions with manicured nails and tactical pants. Immediately, as a woman, you feel at ease knowing part of this lesson has an instructor who can talk to specifics of conceal carry and firearm safety as a woman. The live fire lessons part was so comprehensive, and still felt safe as there were a total of 3 instructors and one range master on a closed range for just the class.

Overall worth it. Chuck will walk you through the laws, Stephanie through handling, stance, and marksmanship, and Sarge will drill it into your brain just how serious pull your firearm is. Went for CCW training. With training I've had "elsewhere" I was expecting the standard fare of lecture followed by going to a shooting lane, shoot, place weapon down, wait for instruction, rinse and repeat until complete. Not here! After the lecture (kind of mandatory) the actual shooting was done in teams, we trained from the holster, were run through proper draw techniques, did rapid magazine changes that included dropping the spent magazines, shot from the hip at extremely close range, and to close things out we shot on the move! They lined us up, held our shoulders to set our pace, and walked us backwards in a line. While doing that we shot until dry, reloaded, and shot again until dry. Too much fun and a new experience for me! The lecture was also kept at a fast pace, highly informative, and the staff had their fair share of funny stories to tell to keep things as lively as you can in a classroom setting. I took this class because of all the crime around this city, I was looking to learn how to handle a gun properly and most of all the safety basics. Not only did I get basics but Sarge was an amazing instructor using common sense to show how ALL the safety protocols make complete sense. ( His Knowledge is all experience which there is no substitution for ) Stephanie was just as amazing with her knowledge of all the types of handguns out there showing the class between single and double action guns. She was amazing on the range showing complete patience while maintaining teaching, I am definitely going to contact her for some one on one instruction.
