I had not been to the eye doctor in some years,i just kept putting off the exams. My friend had been to the Vision at Walmart on Eastern and Russell and was very impressed with them. I made an appointment and met with Esther Tan. The staff was very pleasant signing in and doing the routine check. When I met with Esther Tan ,she was thorough with the exam and very informative . She explained everything ,the results , what to do personally for your eyes that you can do at home with just simply massages ,what to eat to keep your eyes healthy, and of course to wear sunglasses and a hat with a Brim. I was very pleased with her. She took her time and explained everything and never rushed me. I will definitely go back. Make an appointment. I did, and was taken right away. When I was there the room filled up wth walk ins. I'm farsighted and don't really need glasses except for reading. And actually the cheaters that you get in the stores will work just fine, but I opted to get glasses that have the cheaters and the clear bifocals so I don't have to keep taking my glasses off if I'm viewing something across the room. I did order sunglasses with just a tiny tiny bit of prescription to sharpen my vision, it wasn't necessary but I got it anyway. I also have the beginning of cataracts due to normal aging but it's not necessary to do anything at this time. So there was nothing pushed on me and she explained everything. I went to get an eye exam and I told the doctor what was going on with my right eye how it was low and color and distorted like underwater and she continued with the procedure of the eye exam and then just said oh your vision change there’s a new prescription sent me on my way now after spending over $600 on new lenses I find out I have a CSR in right eye and it’s not a vision problem so therefore I just spent all this money on the wrong diagnosis from the doctors and then there’s saying there’s nothing they can do. Very professional and extremely friendly and on top of everything. Very timely appointments for myself, sister and mom, all same day really great! Love this md she is awsome and I highly recommend her and this location. You feel at home and at ease, & staff explain all procedures exactly so everyone understands what they are doing. Glady provides a copy of the prescriptions no questions ask and available on line as well! Extremely convenient and fast.
