2019.. it seems the theater now let’s you reserve your seats. This has some ups and downs. The ups being that you don’t have to rush to get a good seat anymore. The bad being that not all seats are great. Some have some pretty horrible stains. Only a few of these and it seems the theater does address the stains as they see them. If you run into one, I’d let guest services know.
No power recliners apart from Dolby atmos. All the other theater screens have the usual theater seats with a little more comfortable padding💺 than the clifton AMC theater. The seat’s cup holder arm rest can be pushed up so you and your loved one can cozy up together (not that it’s all that comfy, but an option none the less).
Gives you plenty of options when it comes to movie selections since it has several screens available. So you’re more likely to find a film running here far longer than it would at any other none NYC AMC in the area.
As with all AMC’s, the Popcorn 🍿 is good. Has 3 options: regular, sugary, and a mix of the two in popcorn options. Drinks 🍺 have free refills so why bother with anything but a small or medium, unless it’s a super long 3 hr film.
I used my $10 stubs rewards to redeem a pizza and drink combo for $14 (which was $4 out of pocket after stubs redemption). The pizza 🍕 was surprisingly good. It’s a thin crust pizza rectangle that’s cut up into triangles. It’s roughly the size of three bread slices placed next to each other to form a line. As with anything from the concession stand, the pizza alone is still costly at $9 for something thinner and only slightly larger in area (not depth) than a slice from Sbarros.
Average ticket can run from $10 (matinée) to $25 (IMAX). Its pricier than other AMC’s in the area, which includes the distant Jersey Gardens and Palisades Mall. Clifton Commons is the closer and cheaper.
Pretty empty during early weekday nights.
The rest of the mall is closed Sunday but the theater is open. The places has plenty of parking, but it may take a while to find a spot near the theater during the mall’s peak hours so plan to spend time searching before your movie.
I’ve posted 📸 pictures of most of the theater screens and their seating count (occupancy limit) to give you an idea of the size of the theater your movie is playing in. They’re not all the same size, and of course the newer or blockbusters will play in the larger screens. You can check out the theater number when you book through the many digital kiosks at the theater entrance. It’s the number listed near the name when you pick your movie.

Read moreWent yesterday December the 17th and had a horrible experience here. Order my tickets and popcorn online for a 5pm movie. When ordering concession it clearly states your order will be ready 10 min before for you to pick up and just go see your movie. Was there from 4:30 so got online to see if I could pick up my order they told me I had to wait for the time. Me and my husband and two sat and waited till 5. 5 hit the 5:01, 5:02, 5:03 ,5:04, 5:05. My order was never made had to tell one of the people working there about my order and then they made it. If I wouldn’t of said anything it would of never been made I thought the whole point of order ahead was for you to just pick up and go to your movie. Then we finally got are order had order two candies with my order. Had to get them myself as well as the girl didn’t even bother to put it with my order when it clearly stated it on the paper. Then we go to our seats. All of are 4 seats were covered in popcorn and sodas left on the cup holders. My poor 5 yr old had to help me wipe our seats down from the last people who sat there and made a mess. You could tell they hadn’t even clean are row out. Had a horrible experience yesterday with my husband and kids that I wish on no one. Will never go to this theater again, spent my hard earned money for a...
Read moreGreat theater but VERY dirty. They need to power wash the place.
I am editing my review from 2 years ago because despite being 2 years later, NOTHING has changed except things have gotten worse.
They have 10 self serve beverage machines. A bank of 6 and a bank of 4. At ANY given moment, there are only 2 machines that ever work as they should be. Some don't dispense ice, but dispense warm, uncarbonated soda, others dispense ice but not soda. Others simply don't function at all. All while you stick to the floor because no one has thought to clean the floors in months.
Theater #15 continues to be plaqued 2 years later with the stench of death! I have no idea what happened there years ago. But they still have not found the source of the smell.
The REAL problem at this theater is management. I go here regularly and my son is there multiple times a week. Neither of us have seen anyone working there over the age of 21, not a single person. When you have a staff of teenagers, you will have the work ethic of teenagers.
My latest movie today was especially annoying when someone in the projector room decided to put the light on in the room and shine it into the theater.
It is a shame AMC invested so much money on Dreamscapes because in a few months, that too will...
