This review is for Charles, their GM - all it takes is one person to ruin the experience and Charles is that person. This is a somewhat new business but not new enough to have not adjusted any of their “policies” or lack of enforcement for said “policies”. They have very limited food options to order from for their menu (think hot dogs, garden salads and chips + brownies) and they also have a no outside food policy on top of their limited food options. They also have a no re-entry policy. There is no signage anywhere that states no outside food and the staff acknowledges this as well. The staff also admitted no kid really wants to eat hot dogs and definitely not garden salads - we were feeding our daughter who is a toddler some noodles we bought from the food court and Charles approached us to inform us of their no food policy. He was aggressive and not empathetic and understanding of families who had to feed their kid and also couldn’t leave their premises. He just kept saying “he knew and was working on it” re: no signage at all about no outside food, no fair enforcement and no good food options for children. The worst and most embarrassing part for us was he was not consistent. He made us put our food away for a starving toddler but he did not tell everyone else who was eating outside food with the exception of one other family with shake shack. I watched three families with older kids finish their food - one family with homemade repacked food, one with sushi from the food court and one with another premade pink lunchbox for their older kid. How unfair and embarrassing for us! Why did he single people out? Why not be consistent? If you’re that adamant then a sign should be up or you should do the same to everyone eating.
We told his team and one of the team members even told me has told Charles many times himself to chill off and lay back on how he approaches family. This is a playground for KIDS - how is a person like him the GM? He had no regards for our family and I’m sure he’s done the same for many...
Read moreGive this place a try if you have littles. So here’s the thing, reading the reviews I wouldn’t have even tried the place out. So many people saying their children got bored easily. Guess it depends on the kids. My boys are 2 and 6. We were there over 5 hours and they didn’t want to leave. The place is not large, there aren’t 100’s of activities. BUT it is CLEAN. The bathrooms are well maintained. Staff can be seen cleaning and if there’s trouble with something someone can readily assist. It’s staffed adequately and well maintained. Staff can easily be found and were friendly enough. Can they put out more play-dough toys? YES. Especially when there’s more than 3 families redeeming the play dough. The kids loved picking their colors and then making creations they could see on the screen. We didn’t grab anything at the cafe but prices seemed reasonable. Not really a meal but a quick bite to hold you over definitely. My boys enjoyed the foam pit and the little play areas. Like I said I was worried they would get bored like other reviews but they didn’t want to leave. They kept going back to different sections and just kept going. Just know who your kids are, if they love being out and about, colorful play spaces, opportunities to play and don’t get bored or become disinterested easily then this place is for you! Also the price is probably my only complaint. As an adult having to pay to supervise kids the price is a bummer. These are not adult interactive spaces. I’m definitely not climbing into the foam pit nor going into the small jungle gym. I wouldn’t recommend for kids over 8, it’s better suited for the littles. We went on a Saturday between 1-6pm and at no point did I feel it was uncomfortably crowded. The busiest place is usually the play dough area and it...
Read morePlanet PlaySkool was not worth the hype in my opinion. There wasn’t enough things to do. My daughter (age 5) quickly got bored in each section. She spent more time running to each section than actually playing at any station. My daughter is less than 40” and she couldn’t do the gecko climb. I actually didn’t see any kids do it. There’s one medium slide that the kids fought over. The Playdough guy didn’t stay for a long period of time. Only saw him once in the 3hrs I was there. After 3hrs of running around my daughter still had energy. Usually these types of things ware my daughter out. I believe it needs another big attraction like a ball pit, jungle gym, or something like that.
Don’t get me wrong, the aesthetic was great. There was a foam block pit which was okay. The best part was the play-dough station. I loved the fact that they gave you tickets to get free play dough. I also love that it’s an all day pass.
I do not believe this was with $28 per child and $15 per adult. There was literally nothing for adults to do yet we had to pay $15 to get in. Kids empire is $22.90 per child with 2 adults free per child.
I believe Planet Playskool, is decent but not enough for me to come back.
PROS: It’s an all day pass so you can leave and come back. Free play-dough (4) Clean bathrooms 👏🏽👏🏽 Great place for pictures, visually pleasing Has a lot of benches for parents to sit down Lots of cubbies to put shoes Spacious
CONS One medium slide Not a lot of attractions Didn’t keep child’s attention The movie theatre room didn’t display any movie and only had 5 seats Majority of the attractions were not meant for children under 40” There is nothing for children under the...
