Salt & Butter — Restaurant in Paramus

We were excited to try a new kosher restaurant in the area but unfortunately this was the worst restaurant experience I've had in my life. We ordered Mac and cheese for the kids, they took few bites and refused eating it. We ordered penne alla vodka and a broccoli salad for us and I don't even know where to start the pasta was drowning in sauce that was very spicy and not in a good way. I love spicy food but nothing about this dish was balanced. My wife and kids couldn't even try the dish because of the heat. The bowl was left as it came. The broccoli salad was a mix of all the vegetables they had in the kitchen and was served with very thick raw tehini. Broccoli tasted like it was defrosted. We also got a bottle of seltzer (the only thing that we finished) and potato wedges that were nothing but baked potatos. For this lovely meal we paid 110$. The waiter that was trying to be nice at the beginning did not care that all the food was left the same way it came and asked if we want it to go we obviously said no but he didn't ask why..

Worst place I have ever been in. The ambiance is sterile and unappealing. The waiter asked for my order before even bringing me a menu. I went for a quick bite with my wife and grandkids. Ordered the overpriced 10” pizza and a shake. The shake tasted like plastic and pie too so long that I just left $20 on the table (which didn’t even have napkins on it) and left.
