Birthday Party Hosting Experience -

While the kids had a great time enjoying the play area, the overall service for our birthday party left much to be desired. Here's a breakdown of the issues we faced :

There was no water or pre-ordered soda in the party room when the event started. Despite multiple requests, it took over 10 minutes to get them, and the dedicated host was nowhere to be found. Another staff member finally stepped in to fulfill the request. A random child, not part of our party, entered the room and started touching food with bare hands and throwing plates. Despite bringing this to the host's attention, she couldn’t handle the situation. It required two additional staff members and while they did apologize, I expected better crowd control, especially in the private party room. The cake was brought out late, after most kids had finished eating and left the room to play. Additionally, we weren’t informed beforehand that the birthday child wouldn’t be allowed to cut the cake. This led to major disappointment for our 4-year-old, who had been looking forward to this moment for weeks. We ordered three pastas but received only two, even after reminding the host we'll before the event started. While it didn’t affect the meal since we had enough, it was frustrating to find the missing item still included on the bill at checkout. It was removed only after I pointed it out. (Also, I wouldn't recommend the penne alla vodka—it was quite bland). The host, though polite, lacked the skills to manage the event effectively. At the end of the party, there was no help offered to load leftover food and gifts into the car. I requested the front desk staff since our guests had left but the cart was simply loaded and left near the exit, leaving us to manage it ourselves. My husband did it on his own since I’m 5 months pregnant and was busy holding the door open for him while also managing our toddler.

Overall, the place is clean, decor was amazing and while the kids enjoyed the play area, the party service fell far below expectations. For the amount charged and looking at other reviews, I expected...

Very (very chaotic and unprofessional experience) My son (9 years old) had a play date with his friends. There is no self-parking, only valet. I could not ensure my son found his friends or not after dropping him off. There were cars behind me so it was a pressuring situation. The only place I was able to park was in the “VIP” section but then a guard/staff approached me in the parking lot with an aggressive attitude and asked me what I was doing. He said am I the guy that dropped the kid off and I said yes, but then he asked me “why are you parked here?” I said because my son couldn’t find his friend.

The staff was preventing me from entering the building.

But the situation was resolved only after more exchanges of my son’s friend’s name. The owner actually brought my son to the front desk and the front desk personnel were great and said it’s ok I can park in the VIP area temporarily until the situation is fully resolved.

The facility is first grade, the activities are first grade. The only two things to improve are: Parking + Personnel Training. For parking, there is only: VIP parking or Valet Parking.

The owner later told me that my kid was in the parking lot after I dropped him off and he was able to take him to the front desk. Which I explained to the owner later that I tried to find parking and go back to ensure my kid entered the building and found his friend but the guard/staff confronted me and actually delayed my entry back into the building.

Overall, I won’t repeat the same mistake on parking and will check the website for more info in the future. Drop-off lanes were not clearly labeled and added the to the confusion. But it should be better the second time if I go back...
