We usually love this pool but this past Wednesday 7.25.18 we had an incident on the blue slide. My husband went down as the rules stated but something went terribly wrong as the slide threw him in the air around one of its corners and he landed on face first coming back down from being tossed in the air. He knocked out two of his front teeth and came out a bloody mess from that slide! He had one of those two teeth slice his gum and get stuck there and completely shattered the second tooth! It was just terrifying and awful! The lifeguards came to help, took our information but haven’t even contacted us to see if my husband was ok! They need some knowledge on how to take care of injuries to the mouth, we weren’t offered anything to stop the bleeding as gauze would have been helpful! Something needs to be done with this slide as we have found more incidents online where children were hurt on the big blue slide at this pool! We’re just so glad it didn’t happen to our son who went down that slide...
Read moreThe entry fee was affordable, however, you need to create an account with them before paying for a ticket and entering. They sell sunscreen and towels upon checkin for $10 each and they also have a snack bar with several different goods available including pretzels, cool beads, candy, chips, drinks, etc. They have several slide options for kids, some bigger and some smaller, however the small slide was too scary for my 4 year old. There was a bowl that tips over and splashes, a basketball hoop, and several areas for swimming with differing levels of depth. They have nice bathrooms and outdoor booths for changing as well. There are several options for shade and picnic tables and lounge chairs. You can even rent out a pavilion/booth as well for your group specifically. Overall, I would...
Read moreI'm going to disregard that we were there less than 15 minutes before they shut down (total evacuation of all grounds) for distant lightning for over an hour and we lost our 30 dollars. They refused a voucher for tomorrow and pointed to the sign. Fine, our fault for not being aware of the rule. In that 15 minutes though, exhausted what could be done there. The slides are fine, and some of the fastest around, but the pool is oddly chlorinated (odd taste and smell), and overcrowded for its size. The pool is small and the max depth isn't over 4 feet anywhere. This pool has an identity crisis, it seems like it's for little kids, but why then the fast slides? Even if we weren't kicked out, for 30 dollars, still would be a 2 star for us, we were already bored. Will...
