My first experience with uBreakifix was last August when I discovered my phone Port was damaged and my phone would not charge. After stopping by Best Buy's and talking to their tech department they said my phone was worthless it needed to be replaced I couldn't replace the port, and the recommendation was to get a new phone. Mind you my phone is old but I absolutely love it and if it was able to be repaired that was my goal. Fast forward I went to You Break I Fix and spoke to one of the nicest people ever Ethan who's one of the techs there, and he said we can replace your port which I was relieved. I also had him replace the battery which was the original battery, and the screen which was damaged. I was able to get my phone back and was able to have it in time to go on my planned vacation. All I can say is thank you Ryan for working on my phone, thank you Ethan for your continued patience and also working on my phone. I was just in there today to have my battery replaced, unfortunately I didn't know that using a wireless charger isn't always the best thing to do especially everyday all night, so I'm thankful that I was able to replace that battery and have my phone functioning again. I can't say enough wonderful things about the manager S h ahla, she is so patient and kind and knowledgeable and her staff is just top tier. I will never go anywhere but this place to have any of my phones or computers fixed moving forward. They are affordable, extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly extremely patient and kind. Read moreso i brought my xbox one x in for a retimer chip replacement, the tech thought it was an hdmi, issue and was going to charge way way over what a hdmi replacement actualy costs in labor, for a port that wasnt broken, he called the retimer chip an hdmi filter... and said they couldnt get parts, and dont fix it and that my best bet is to go to microsoft. well i joined a group of people who specialize in fixing difficult and EASY repairs, and wile a bit more challenging then an hdmi port its very very repairable, in fact most things on xbox one x are repairable, this tech was just bieng lazy, and likely didnt know what he was doing other then very simple repairs. i looked online and saw that retimer chips and most xbox parts are very easy to come by, found a reputable shop, nearby, that does every type of repair and upgrade to xbox one x including upgrading to ssd internally, and they got back to me faster and repaired the issue easily the onley hard part was soldiering but thier very experienced with that so it didnt take long. ill continue to bring upgrades or repairs to the new shop i tried, much better service and far cheaper, he charged alot less for a real issue then the 180 that ubreakifix wanted for an hdmi port... im very dissapointed that they lied to me and didnt know anything about this type of repair ubreak ifix is very poor for console repair dont take your units to them they wont fix it, the tech i talked to turns away almost all of them unless its extremely simple he told me himself wayto sell the brand.... these consoles are very very repairable 8/10 repair wise most things can be fixed or replaced. thanks to the group and the shop, i have better options now. this was the parker colorado store. really disapointed... also my tech was Austin C. BAD EXPERIENCE AT QUINCY: I first went to the Quincy location today.. they are a bit closer to me. I booked an appointment online there: When I got there they told me they didn’t have the battery needed in stock. They told me it would take SEVERAL weeks to get it in. I asked if they knew I’d the Parker store had one.. They made it clear that they are not associated with the Parker store. I felt like I interrupted their day and was disturbed by the lack of kindness in their customer service and lack of inventory (including cell phone cases on the walls — I glanced at them for maybe 3 min and didn’t see anything iPhone related)
GREAT EXPERIENCE AT PARKER: Later today I went to Parker. They welcomed me with a smile. I didn’t make an appointment at this location. They had the battery I needed in stock. While they were checking for one they also said they would be happy to call other Ubreakifix to help me. They even indicated that they call the Quincy store often when they don’t have something … just to help the customers. I noticed they have a lot more inventory (at least on the wall for cell phone cases).. they also had the battery I needed.
They have better inventory and MUCH kinder customer service!!
Parker location is the only one for me. Seems like the owner and staff at Quincy don’t care.
