Absolutely superlative "customer service" from Joseph Jancuk on a recent occasion. To put it somewhat briefly, I had a small (but completely annoying, entirely unnecessary AND entirely preventable) problem with an item which was, at least originally, delivered to me from an out of State library & this problem was then compounded (whether accidentally or otherwise) by another branch of this library who, unfortunately, did not quite seem to have the knowledge, experience, aptitude or ability to help me successfully deal with that problem effectively i.e. REMOVE it &, both out of courtesy & because they are generally both extremely courteous & very helpful, I'm not going to name that particular branch. Anyhow, after a visit or two to both branches, this particular employee DID manage to solve this problem & very effectively so. A complete resolution of the original problem & that to MY satisfaction which, in the end, is what I was really looking for. Even though we only spoke relatively briefly he was patient, sympathetic, courteous & very attentive. He also "listened" (quite well, actually) &, most importantly, he then used his accumulated knowledge & experience of how our library system works to fully & completely solve the original problem &, in the process, provided truly EXCELLENT "customer service." This guy is an absolute ASSET to both this branch & the Enoch Pratt Library system as a whole &, therefore, should be treated accordingly, he did a GREAT job. Well done, young man, well done. Give this...

Read moreReally nice library. Parking and access is frustrating. I can walk distances okay so I don't have a parking tag but I can't do stairs without a lot of pain. This library only has parking near the accessible entrance with a disabled parking tag, or from the regular lot up a significant flight of stairs. There's no access for people with a medium level of disability, you have to go around the entire grounds to...
