I cant rate the atmosphere but I can tell you the customer service at this restaurant particularly with catering is the WORST. I had ordered food for a hospital conference downtown and it was the worst experience I have ever dealt with in regards to delivery and customer service with this restaurant and I order catering a lot. The delivery driver was over an hour late delivering the food because he couldn't find the hospital after I had call more than once to confirm that the driver knew where the delivery was to be made. The restaurant left out necessary items such as cups (how do you bring gallons of drinks that I paid a lot of money for without cups) when they confirmed they would be included. The food was cold by the time it arrived and was very underwhelming portion sized. There were several boxes of food that weren't labeled (I specifically had asked for everything to be labeled due to dietary restrictions). When I spoke to the manager regarding the issues I was rudely told that the driver didn't know where to go because the address and instructions weren't clear even though I confirmed the day before. No apology was given, just a rude comment about how the next time I order they would be sure to note where to deliver. I will not be ordering from them again. It was a horrible experience.
** Edit - After talking with Foodify and the regional manager from Island Quizine, the restaurant offered to give a complimentary lunch in redemption for their previous issues. Which we appreciated and tried to give them a second chance. The pros - the restaurant apologized for their issues, stating they had a newly transplanted delivery driver deliver the order the first time who was unaware of Baltimore City. The restaurant catered a free lunch to the group. The restaurant sent two delivery drivers the second time without any issues of finding the building. The cons (still the second time) - the restaurant delivered the food 45 minutes earlier than what was asked so the food was still cold by the time the group ate. The delivery driver still did not follow the directions in the foodify comments on to call when they arrived at the building but rather had the store manager call who stated the delivery driver was outside and had been out there a while waiting for me (again can not follow directions). The restaurant still did not label the individual boxes of food which we had specifically asked for them to do because we have folks who are vegetarian, halal and dietary restrictions (rather the restaurant labeled the outside of the bag which each bag had multiple dishes in it therefore it was still a guessing game for me to try and figure out which food was vegetarian, tofu, chicken, ect...). And the portions of their food was still underwhelming. I appreciated their efforts to redeem themselves and all, but there is still work that needs to be done on the restaurants end. I called my order in at 7 p.m. today April 15th 2020. I drove halfway across town burned and wasted gas only to wait. Well after an hour of waiting for my food even though I called in my order almost 40 minutes before my arrival my food was still not ready. With the owner taking other people before me and allowing them to cut the line despite the fact that I have been waiting for an hour for my food with a pre-order that was called in.
If you could see the lackadaisical operation of this restaurant which should be so blessed to have patrons so many that they can't even hold and they're turning people outside to take their orders; cannot run an efficient process. One person at a two person register and if you could see how this girl with moving no life... no energy as if she has not a care in the world.Ā orders were not ready with quite a number of staff present spinning and turning aimlessly ....again I will never patron this business.

I called to make an order for my motherās birthday today 5/3/2020. The greeting on the phone was fine. I ordered my food and asked āwhat sides would I be able to get with thatā the woman on the phone got loud and irritated because i asked a simple question. on certain days they donāt make certain foods & always are āout of somethingā like dumpling, banana, yam etc. she says āmaāam, what do you mean. what do you want, it all depends on what you want.ā after i explained to her iām simply asking a question because sometimes certain foods arenāt made in certain days or they donāt have something. she just bypasses what i said. i then ask okay can i get yam and dumpling she yells in the back to see if they have it. exactly my point. āwe only have one piece of dumplingā why would i just want one dumpling? the tone she took was so uncalled for. it completely turned me off and i got so irritated and just told her i didnāt even want to order anymore. it was honestly ridiculous. how am i supposed to know what is made daily...
