If there were 0 stars I would definitely select it. I had an eyelash extension appointment with Nichole at 3:00pm on Friday 1/28/22. I was greeted by an employee and advised her of my appointment she went to the back and let her know. I waited for 50 mins and finally was brought to the back. My initial thought was it’s going to turn out great boy was I wrong . I’ve been getting lash extensions for 1 year plus with my lady in California and she has me going back. I’m a resident here in Ohio anyways I was told to lay down in a bed and I was familiar with the experience. She then aggressively “shampoos my lashes aggressively the shampoo smelled like perm solution which was not a pleasant smell. She then had a towel placed on my forehead and placed her tools over the same towel that was close to my right ear. She used tape that was pretty much like duct tape. During the process she dropped and picked up her tools aggressively with my hair hair tugged along she poked my eyelids and was not gentle AT ALL which was pretty painful this was definitely not a spa experience overall she did a horrible job! She was filing her tweezers for whatever reason also “plucked” my baby hairs to place them for “lost eyelashes” because it came off with tape I felt like she is new at this and I was a Guinea pig this process took 2 plus hours. I got them done Friday 1/28/22 and it’s Tuesday morning 2/1/22 and I have aches and pain from this experience around both eyes! I will NOT go back I paid for the service and tipped her as well which I didn’t think I should of. Sorry Nichole overall you are a nice lady but there’s definitely a lot of room for improvement. Read moreI scheduled a lash appointment for 1:30 and arrive to be told that they accidentally took a walk-in during my appointment. I said okay because I understand mistakes happen. I decide to wait and give them a chance and get my nails done. (I should have left before I did this) the guy doing my nails hurt me a few times and also cut my skin with the electric file. He starts applying the acrylic and it’s very obvious he has no idea what he’s doing. The beads were way too watery and were just spreading all over my nails and on to my skin into my cut cuticles. The nails were so lumpy and crooked and just horrible technique. Then I realize he’s using a dirty file which was used on previous clients as well as the electric file was reused on previous clients. He attempted to “disinfect” his implements with alcohol without prior scrubbing for physical contaminants. Per ohio state board all tools must be scrubbed with soap and water prior to immersing them in BARBICIDE. This salon was disgusting and dirty. I contacted the salon for a refund to which they said ok I’ll let the owner know. I was not called back I had to call back and was told they do not do refunds but I could come get another service done. I would never ever ever step foot in to such a dirty chop shop again. Read moreI had been here twice before and was completely satisfied. I went to get a full set of acrylics in an ombre style. After 2 and a half hrs in the chair, the tech was finally done. I made the mistake of paying and leaving without expressing my disappointment in the results. That was totally my fault. I had showed the tech a pic of what I wanted and what I got was definitely not it. I am not one to complain. However after examining my nails more, I was very unsatisfied with the result. I called the salon to speak with the manager. I wanted to just let her know how I felt and to explain to her that maybe that particular nail tech was not ready to do the type of set i requested, on clients. I was told that she would contact the owner and get back to me. I followed up twice and got excuses about why no one had gotten back to me and ultimately was disregarded and no one ever got back to me. Even after sending pictures of the result. I had to go the very next day and get my nails redone. It took over two hours to soak off the acrylic because it was so thick. While this salon is clean and probably has good employees, the mgmt was very unprofessional. So if you do have an issue, dont expect a response from the manager or owner.
