I attended the Sentinel Class last March 31st. It was the first training class I signed up for at PASC and I was very impressed by the way the instructors conducted the class! The classroom portion was presented with essential information and emphasis on safety and responsible firearm ownership--this is vital for a gun owner to always know the status of their firearm at all times! They also explained the reasoning behind modern day techniques and stances -- it was new knowledge to me! Dave S. and Will O. have coordinated the class well with the right amount of information balanced with fun and practical examples! The range practice was great and compared to other places I have been, the instructors really take the time to enforce safety and teach marksmanship fundamentals! I commend Will O. for getting out of his way and focusing all his effort in teaching a young lady how to shoot effectively-- i could tell you how much of a drastic improvement that made putting the hits on target within a few minutes and most of all boosting the confidence of the shooter putting the best smile on her face!! They are fun instructors specially the challenges they presented at the very end...really enjoyed this class and how Dave N. and Nate W. assisted and demonstrated their abilities as well! I'm excited to attend today's Holster Draw Assessment class -- the very first time I would have to practice live fire with holster draws!!! Excellent job and I would highly recommend PASC! Everybody is helpful and knowledgeable--- this is the best place to train and practice and shop firearms with all of their staff being excellent at their jobs!!! ---- Went back for the Holster Draw Assessment class and found interesting variations on how to clear garments to draw a concealed pistol!! Some methods were practical, some I was skeptical of but when I posed a question, Will O. had a very reasonable explanation why it had to be performed as such. I have high remarks on the method of instruction and the range practice sessions! It took some comfort level to draw from concealed to shooting at close quarters. Very good experience to try it and the execution was safe at your own pace! Excellent courses of training indeed so highly recommend for all who sees this review to try the class!!! Thanks Will O. and Dave N. for your time teaching us!!!

No experienced shooter should want to go here. Garbage range with garbage rules that they let new people slide by with. Worry about people who can’t hit a target, not someone double tapping in a perfect group. Attached my target picture so you can try arguing why I’m not allowed to “rapid fire” when geriatric next to me is out Willy Nilly with a gun and ammo just walking around and loading, not even in a lane. Stick to a place that doesn’t let new people do whatever they want cause “they don’t know better” P.s. the stragglers are from the range officer coming up and touching my shoulders while I was shooting. If safety is your top priority how did someone shoot themselves and a family member at your range? I could understand if I wasn’t being safe but you had people walking around loading ammo in to guns that weren’t in lanes. I’d love to believe the excuse of safety but no other range has these problems. Maybe the range officer should focus on actual safety violations and not people who know what they’re doing.

I had just purchased a new Springfield Armory 10mm and wanted takenot for a test run. The choice was to drive to the range near the house which was an half an hour or to Parma which was 6 minutes. I drove 6 minutes. Have seen the price of gas? First time there and from the guy checking me in to the range officer was great. So Harold, who is range officer, noticed my grip was incorrect. He politely walked up and instructed me how to grip the gun better. Wow, what a simple change made my accuracy better. I'm a creature of habit so I will gravitate to the known. It's rare that I feel comfortable so easy as I did there. I going back. Hell with the gas prices. I enjoy great service and a friendly staff. The pic below is my target of the day. The number of bullets in the red is due to some one wanting me to have a great experience at the range and help insuring if need be being able to protect me and mine

A company called about a month prior to the date and time needed and spoke with a manager. He told them yes to the date and times requested for the range and classroom. He told them what range and the time. About two weeks prior to the date scheduled, they called to confirm everything was good and to see if anything was needed. They spoke with the same Manager again. He didn’t have them down for the same range time nor the same location. He also failed to tell them during the first conversation that they open at 9am and we couldn’t start at 8am like first agreed.

Now fast forward to the day. Once arrived they asked what classroom they would be in. This was asked to 3 different employees all to which were confused but said the same classroom number. Once in that classroom another Instructor is angered that they are in his classroom and starts a short argument. The instructor leaves the room to get an employee. To avoid a confrontation, they decide to pack up and move to a new classroom. While moving , they spoke up and said how unprofessional and unorganized this place is. The other instructor who was double booked in the same room stated he has been “using this facility for 3 years now and it happens all the time”. They expressed how that isn’t okay. An employee comes to tell us how sorry he was but stated , “it’s not that big of a deal.” However, the students were there and had to move classrooms so it was a big deal and was unprofessional. When trying to pay for the range and classroom for the day, they had yet to been entered into their system so they couldn’t figure out how to take payment. This took 15minutes to do.

While using the 5 star range it was like being in a fishbowl. People on top of the glass watching. Also another instructor from the facility poked his head in only to ask when they would be finished! They told him they still had 30 minutes left on their time slot and he says “who told you that” and “was that scheduled with the manager?” They advised the instructor that it was set up with the GM and he replied “not what we were told”. Long story short. Unprofessional. Unorganized. I even called to speak with the owner Rob E. since they had several more classes scheduled here and he never called me back. The foot traffic here was a big concern...

Arrived on Saturday July 13, 2024 with the intent to purchase two revolvers for each of my daughters and let one get some time on range. We walked into the gun shop and it was staffed by 6 associates who were in engaged in conversation.. There was one other shopper at the counter browsing. One would expect to be generally greeted, but there was no greeting at all just contemptuous stares by a couple of them, the others averted their eyes…weird. We started browsing the case looking for the revolvers.

Reached the far right side of the counter and noticed one Taurus revolver and another in the case directly to the right of the main case. I look down to left side of the main case where the associates are still huddled and asked “is anyone available, I’d like to see this revolver?” Now I kid you not, the tallest guy looks down to us and literally sighs, rolls his eyes and then stomps down to where we are almost like a petulant child. He then sighs again and barks “what do you want to see?” I point out the Taurus, he opens the case, clears the weapon and hands to me with an aura of disgust. I hand it back and then asked to see the other revolver in the next case, I swear with the clerks attitude I thought he was about to put his hands on his hips and roll his eyes again.

My daughter asks what’s the difference between the two revolvers, he says nothing. I then explain that they are both the same caliber but by different makers. It was at that very moment I decided NOT to buy the weapons. Then get this, I ask to buy a carton of .40 cal for the range and the clerk says “you can get some at the counter down the hall so I don’t have to restock later.” Just lazy.

*Now for the range check in and range masters….EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL!! I had to update my waiver since it’s been a while since my previous visit, purchased ammo and they were smooth, prompt and courteous.

The team staffing the store on this date would do better at sweeping up brass off the ranges. I would have walked out of there with two new revolvers, holsters, ammo and carry purses (if they stocked those) were it not for the lackluster “customer service” provided in the gun...
