PLS Check Cashers — Attraction in Pasadena

I've been coming here for close to 10 years (8 1/2 years I think). Im self employed so my customers pay me with checks sometimes and I recently got a new customer and brought a "material" check in so I could get supplies and do the job. They cashed that check, but when I finished the job and got my "paycheck", they wouldn't cash it because they had to wait till the first check cleared. I understand that there might be people out there committing check fraud, but if someone has been coming there for almost a decade and never once had a check bounce or be anything other than a good check, you would think they would make an exception. I really needed that money and now I have to go bother this poor lady for another form of payment, and could possibly end up losing her business, because they wouldnt cash my check. Again, I understand check fraud, but that isn't me. Im just trying to pay my bills and buy groceries for my kids. Anyway, thats my rant. Hopefully things will be ok and the new customer won't be upset and maybe someone will read this and not waste...

I went in to cash check, Ivet was my teller and she was a really big help. Because I had just cashed another check a few days ago she had to get approval from the district manager. Which was fine with me. So then Madelyn, the manager I believe, stepped on to tell me not to worry Mr. Alfaro. I see you're a regular so this won't take long. And sure enough it didn't. The call to the district manager, and I regret that I didn't get his name, was quick and smooth. Then Alexis stepped in to me explain the percentage changeds for the different check amounts. I went in there to cash a check...I called before I got there because I didnt have my ID. They told me it was no problem since I was an existing client. I got there...Sheyla and the other lady didnt want to call to verify my check...they called the number on the check which was my job...but it was closed. They gave me such a hard time because they couldn't go the extra mile to help me. I needed this money for food and gas. Why give attitude and not go the extra mile to help me. Now that they recieved verification, their bank supposedly denied my check. To come Monday. I guess it's really hard for people to help others...
