Brothers Quality Halal Meat — Attraction in Paterson

My wife and I first visit here on Feb9, 2022 and we arrived early at 10:00 and they were busy cleaning so we didn’t mind waiting as they are cleaning for our benefit . We have owned a halal supermarket store in Concord CA for few years so we know what it is like to get good meat . I know my meat and can cut a whole cow single handed and all the different steaks and I know the grades of meat well too . We wanted a small goat but they didn’t have the size so we had half of a bigger goat plus extra shoulder. Service was quick and clean . When they use the bone on the saw before they cut your meat you know they are cleaning the saw to avoid cross contamination from cleaning chemicals ! The meat here is very good and Ali ( my Moroccan bro ) who served us is a very honest man . We brought the meat back home from Paterson to Delaware in a cooler box. We cooked some meat today and it’s very good meat . I will be traveling all that way for 3 hours to buy the meat from here in future inshallah . I have read some of the reviews implying that customer service is not good , did not speak because they cleaning and so on but I urge all to understand that running a meat shop is not an easy job as it’s very stressful and the equipment is very dangerous requiring full concentration especially operating the meat saw so please leave them alone when they are cutting your meat as they need to avoid injuries . We did not see any sign to give us any impression that service is poor . These guys are working very hard so please think twice before you put negative comments on these family run...

Someone needs to explain to this brother (owner) that he is not supposed to include weight of the trays into the final weight of the meat/chicken purchased. Just yesterday we went in to buy some stuff and ended up buying over 5 lb of chicken tenders not even thinking about the trays because even in kufar’s stores the weight tray is deducted either at the beginning or at the end of weighing. But apparently in Muslim shops - where this type of trade (cheating, scamming etc) is actually forbidden, his employees weigh and sell you tray weight under actual meat weight. As we were just passing through Paterson and usually do not buy here, I didn’t care to go between the shops and we just entered first butcher we came across, this reviews is explicitly in regards to weight of prepackaged meat/chicken and pricing it and not in regards to overall store or the quality of meats. Finally, i discovered they are terrible store they don't filter between their really customers who buy a lot meat from them every weekend and the other customer. I'm customer of them over 6 years and finally i know how they charge us more than other customer because if you are old customer make sure they charge you regular price they charge us extra because they know we are their customers and we don't change them but I swear by god I'm not buying more from them trust me . My advice to who are reading my comment now , you have to stop buying meat from them they charge you more any other place around main St believe me they play with me , I brought for them a lot customer my friends to buy meat from them but today i called all of them to stop...
