Saturday Aug 13, myself and two other went in for appointments. Mind you, I have been to this salon before and hadnât had a bad experience, actually was taken very well care of and my nails were nice. I was there to have a gel pedi and gel mani. (Had them done at the same time.) I left and went out of town and after three days my nails and toes had chipped. I called and asked if I could come in and they could take a look, the individual on the phone assured me I could. When I arrived back in town a week later I showed them my nails and toes, every single nail was chipped / cracking. When using gel polish, I understand it happens but not this soon. I arrive at the business and the receptionist has me sit down and has me wait for the lady to come look who did my nails. She arrives and sits down and says, âI didnât do these. How do you know I did these? Do you even know my name? How do you know I did this?â I simply stated that I recognized her. She got up and went the the receptionist and they had a verbal dispute infront on the salon. I stated that I was not mad or saying she had bad work and that it simply could have been the polish. I said honestly at this point Iâll be okay if you just fix my toe that I have no polish on, he took me to a seat in the back and said I wish you could have come in sooner the policy just states it has been too long and we canât really fix it for free. He told me that the polish is not indestructible I said yes I understand that, but gel polish shouldnât chip on day 3 of having it, thatâs why I pay the extra money for it. They had an individual fix my toe, and then had the audacity to say that they would only fix one on my nails that was messed up. I said at this point I donât even want that. I walked to the front and told the receptionist that the lady that was denying saying that she was not the one that did my service the first time was in fact her and he stated he knew it was she just didnât want to fix all of my nails. I told him I wasnât asking for a full manicure but a polish change would have been nice. I will not be returning to the salon, and neither...
Read morepoor customer service upon walking into the salon, the place was very empty (which is okay) and their were very limited options when choosing colors. once my friend and i were seated the techs took quite a while to prepare for the service. in fact, my friends tech had to run out to his car to grab supplies and starbucks several times. the service overall was very sloppy and one of the techs had to ask another tech how to do a fairly simple design. on top of that, when looking at the reference on my phone, she got polish on my phone case. my friends tech cut her cuticle with the drill and when she pulled away in pain, he gave her a dirty look. my tech was rude when i asked to cut the nails shorter. she replied and said that they were already short enough. my friends tech though did not cut hers short enough upon request. my friends tech was also aggressive when working with her nails once he could not find the right nail size to use on the first try. my friend said he was so aggressive when filing that she thought that he was going to rip the tip off of her finger, which makes sense because it was her first time getting tips. she also claims that the design that the tech made are patchy and not well done. my tech was overall pretty good with the filing. another thing that threw me off was the price. when i called the nail salon he told me a full set of acrylic would cost somewhere between 35-50 dollars. i figured mine would be closer to 50 because of the design. however, once i got the the register my tech said it would be 50, but handed the the check that said it was 60 dollars and that is without a tip. they charged my friend and i 5 dollars just to shape the nails to a coffin shape. we also were not expecting them to put a gel coating on top of the nails. we were expecting an acrylic color which i am assuming they did not have. so they added gel polish which was an extra 15 dollars. disregarding all of the claims stated so far, in the end i am happy with the turnout of my nails, but not happy with the service shown...
Read moreFirst time customer on 5/7 the day before Motherâs Day and the gentle man was very nice to give me an appointment for 2 pedicures last minute. When my sister and I got there that same gentleman was friendly and welcoming. I bought my 2yr daughter for her first time doing her nails by anyone including myself. The gentleman said it would be 5 or 6 dollars. His English was good so I highly doubt there was a communication issue. Her bill was $11âŚwth! All the lady did was slap nail polish on her nails and sloppy as hell. No my daughter was not moving around, she was very much into it. It was streaky and did not color her entire little nail, she was so cheap with the nail color and the clear like it was hersâŚlmao. Now on to meâŚGod help us all. This salon only wants money. Getââem in and out so we can have more. Now it was a classic pedicure but the way she scrub my feet was like I had a disease she rub it exactly 3x and then rinsed it off, she applied lotion like there wasnât anymore left. It took her to do my pedicure and my daughters nails 15min. I walked out of there totally disappointed and will never return. I guess you have to spend $50 or more to get good service? I am assuming because this salon in a typical nail salon with people going in and out giving them money for a service that is mediocre. Never...
