I wish I could’ve been as excited about my purchase from here as I was about visiting the shop. I had drive about 1.5 hours to go see this shop, since I’d heard so many good things from reputable sources. The day I went, I was looking for a set that was on the rarer/ more expensive side. I asked the owner, Andy, about the set and shockingly they had just had someone drop off a used one earlier on. The downside? One of the employees had dumped out some pieces from the set by accident, so it was missing about 20 pieces. Knowing this, Andy gave me a price and a list of the missing pieces. He also told me that if I wanted to wait for the shop to find the rest of the pieces and come back, there was a “60% chance it may still be here”. I thought on it for a little longer as I continued shopping, and after I found everything else I wanted I decided to go for it and get the set. Andy had also looked into the set a little further, and after realizing the price he told me was below value, he seemed to want to change the price, but after a few minutes told me “well a deals a deal.” I went home and it took me about a week to find the missing pieces at various other Lego stores (I had known this would happen going into it). Once I found what I thought was all the pieces I needed, I started to build the set. As I was about 1/4 finished, I noticed a few of the pieces were not actual Lego brand bricks, which was surprisingly, coming from a shop that sells genuine new/used Lego products. I decided to continue building and began to notice that there were more pieces missing than what Andy had originally told me, 5 missing pieces and a missing sticker to be exact. There were also pieces in the set that don’t even belong to the set itself. I would’ve shrugged it off if these pieces weren’t important, but they were, especially the sticker since it sits right on the front of the piece. I’m very upset, because I genuinely did enjoy my time at the shop. Had the employees taken the time to properly sort this set before selling, I know they would’ve found the discrepancy that I had to find once I paid (a decent amount) for it and brought it home. I now have to see if Lego can even send me the missing sticker and pieces, since this set is retired. I understand this company has a lot of sets to go through, but it seems very unprofessional to claim you’re giving someone something worth value when in fact it’s in worse condition...
Read moreMy son, Mason, and I were on a trip to the Philadelphia area. My son wanted to check out the mall that I spent a lot of my youth in, so we swung by the Oxford Valley Mall. We checked the directory looking to see if they had a Lego store in the mall and didn’t see anything. We went downstairs and saw a Lego sign outside a store and went to check it out. We walked into Andy’s Brick Shop and it was massive! It is full of rare Lego sets, new sets, lightly used sets, and all kinds of custom “mock” builds! Andy, the owner, greeted us and showed us around the store. Andy and his staff are very knowledgeable and were so kind to my son. My son builds custom mocks and showed some photos of some of his builds that he sold down in the Atlanta area, and Andy was very encouraging and enjoyed talking to my son. We bought a great droid set from Andy and loved the store. We will definitely be back the next time we get to Langhorne. If you love Legos, this will be your new favorite store in...
Read moreLet your creativity run wild! A giant brick shop, housing every Lego brick you’re hunting for, to complete your masterpiece! My family popped in here on a whim, while we were in the area, and we now have it set as a destination spot to return to because it was so much fun. If you’re a Lego fan, this is a must do! This is the largest and best brick shop I have ever been in. They have everything! We played at their free build tables for a while and made some unique creations, to take home. My girls favorite part was building Lego Friends mini figures that looked like them. We also picked up a bunch of Lego Friends pets, before checking out, at the counter. Andy and his staff are so warm and welcoming and are there to help with whatever you need. Like I said, this place is a must see, for any Lego enthusiast! (Photos are of some of the bricks we brought home. I wish we took some while we were there, but I...
