Update: Haverty's was set out to make this up to me which says a lot from a company these days and they were out to make this right. The manager was in direct contact with me throughout this process and also made sure the delivery manager came out on delivery day to ensure my new couch was flawless, and it was. Thanks for making this right! I was refunded my delivery fee (+ $100 returned back to me) and they they were very apologetic.
I can only speak to my experience with my purchase but it's not a good one. The customer service is great and Victoria has been a great help but in my experience their product seems to be lacking quality checks before leaving the warehouse. I purchased a recliner and couch. The couch was fine but the recliner was not working correctly so they went to replace it. Well, after 4 different replacement recliners... they are still delivering me recliners that are damaged, not working correctly, or seem used. It's very frustrating to the point where I don't want to deal with a 5th recliner because they have all been disappointing and this is very inconvenient. I expected a lot more from Haverty's because of the recommendation I received but after my experience, it's just not up to par for the price you pay. And there has been no compensation yet for this inconvenience. The pictures are from a few different recliners (the ones that didn't have mechanical/battery issues). This fourth recliner I received is the second one they delivered because it was left out in the rain on pick up day. You can tell because the leather looks/feels different than our couch which is from the same line and the cables were pulled through the fabric like it was troubleshot and a clamp was loose and not reinstalled but hanging on a cord. Not sure what's going on over there but this is just my experience. Again, these are supposed to be "new" recliners. I will update this review if anything happens to rectify/compensate...
Read moreOverall a terrible experience here. The quality and selection of furniture was great but the customer service was terrible. I went to the store to find a couch. After finding the one I was unsure if it would fit in the house so I went home to measure. Even though I wasn’t helped very well in the store I still called back and placed the order with an associate of the store so he could get the credit instead of ordering online. That being said, after looking out for the employee, I wished I just ordered online. I was told the couch would be here by Thanksgiving, well guess what, almost Thanksgiving and no couch. The sales associate never called and informed me of the delay. Sadly, the manager had to talk to me because the employee would never call me back. Now, they rescheduled it for a timeframe that I will not even be in town. They just made up a date and said it was scheduled back in October when I placed the order. Total lie because it was supposed to be delivered before Thanksgiving. Be careful when placing an order and the dates they say the item will arrive. Sorry Haverty’s, you failed on this one. Not sure if I will ever shop there again. One last thing is they were sure to take the $3000 out of my account in October when I ordered the item. I paid for something I haven’t even seen yet for 2 months. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS......

There is so much unjust and ugliness in our world today - that it has lower our expectations on common courtesies and respect as it relates to customer service. But Nick is definitely making strides to change this perspective. This young man has exceeded your salesman training - it is enhanced by his kind and caring heart. We have made three separate purchases with Nick in five weeks. And going forward even the simplest of purchases such as a lamp, vase, picture, etc that I could buy anywhere, we plan on returning to that location. This is not our first purchase from Havertys we have been to other locations but never had such a memorable experience like we did with salesman Nick. Havertys already has high quality merchandise we just didn’t know you had a precious jewel in the Pensacola...
