Their customer service could use some work. When I dropped my ring off to get sized a blond woman, I would say mid 40ās, helped me. She was not friendly at all. I asked a few questions about the process and some questions about getting the value of the ring. She clearly didnāt want to answer any questions. She was very snoody and stuck up. I got the impression she thought I wasnāt good enough to be in that store and my questions were wasting her time. I thought I hope sheās not working when I pick it up. I picked it up a couple days ago and to my relief she was not there. A woman with brown hair, mid 30ās, helped me. I walked in and she just stood there. No hi or welcome, nothing. I said Iām here to pick up a ring. Well it seems the older blond woman must of trained her. Same snooty attitude. I asked about a necklace I liked. She showed me and again seemed like she felt I was wasting her time. So I just stood there quietly until she was done. I do think she may have noticed I upset and tried to be nice at the end of the transaction however her being āniceā sounded very condescending. I didnāt realize it was, I believe, $260.00 to have it made one size smaller. After checking around that was the most expensive place. That was my fault. I should of asked before it was done. I just never in my wildest dreams thought it would be that much. So not only did I get bad service I also paid way to much for the service. I would not recommend this jewelry store at all. If the 2 women would of been nice and not act like they were auditioning for a Mean Girls sequel, Older, bigger and meaner paying so much for the sizing wouldnāt of been so bad. I do hope someone sees this and has a talk with...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePeople are very nice and friendly..and I would give 10 stars for the friendly folks!! unfortunately I paid $140 for zero information.. supposedly they spent precious time and energy examining the stones with high tech stuff.. but my receipt said nothing.. I couldnāt even ask more questions.. They had my stones for nearly 3 weeks and all my receipt said was $140..the guy who Looked at my gems was outside smoking a cigarette when I arrived.. so hard for him to come in and give me info on the gems he got $140 to look at..
I should have just bought my own gem tester.. or went to tc.
Another jeweler did the same stuff but for free.. I didnāt have to pay $140 for a piece of paper telling me nothing.. definitely do not recommend this store!!
The info I got was second hand info and she could not answer the question about my stone that was appraised at $1200.. yes the stone is a tourmaline.. but she was clueless in identifying and couldnāt tell me why it was not a certain type.. color, content.. was it from Brazil.. that is why I came in..
But at least the gal who gave me the receipt and stones back said it was fun for her to see the process! Hey at least someone got something out of the $140 , I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreZero stars. I went in because I had a cracked opal in my engagement ring. The ring has a lot of sentimental value even though its not the most expensive. I was told after a couple seconds of looking at it that NO ONE in Michigan cuts opal and that I would have to go to say New York. He then told me that the ring was not worth putting money into it and that most people would just throw it away and start over. The gentleman we spoke to did not seem to care at all and acted like I was not worth his time because it wasn't an expensive ring. He then said if I was set on keeping it, to put super glue on it and hope it didn't fall out. I left and googled a bit when I found Yanke Designs in Traverse City. I called them and Frank got back to me right away. We set up an appointment and he was the best. Talked me through some options and seemed shocked when I asked if he could cut opals. He said of course! I 'm glad to say that tomorrow I will be picking up my newly fixed engagement ring. Never go to Reusch's. Terrible service and they obviously forgot they deal in...
