I wish I can give this ZERO Stars. As a New Yorker who used to live in Center City, this disgusts me.
MANAGEMENT: You should rethink the way business is being dealt with at your location. Never mind be ASHAMED of yourself for making a woman who is 5 months pregnant cry, then told to leave your establishment because she was EXACTLY 15 minutes late AFTER calling and letting you know. Ladies, donāt bother with a business that doesnāt care about itās customerās wellbeing and care. No wonder why so many Drybar LEAD stylists quit and moved to work with DreamDry in NYC. Maybe itās because they donāt have a phone??šš¼ Read below for my attempt at calling Philadelphiaās Center City location. Itās quite insulting, especially for the woman you made cry when she made all attempts at being on time and keeping you updated.
Well, isnāt it funny that Drybar doesnāt HAVE a phone? Instead a third party answering service. I questioned how a business couldnāt have a phone, especially in case of an emergency and they said āYes, maāam we can only SKYPE with them.ā In 2018!? In fact, when I called I was transferred to the supervisor (after asking, of course) and was told their answering service is in the Philippines. God bless America, right? Gail Davis, Manager of Market Street Drybar, you run a HORRIBLE business and should be ashamed of yourself. I hope youāre late one day and can see how it feels. Customer Service is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI booked two appointments - one for me and one for my sister - for my birthday and was disappointed in the professionalism of the Center City location. I asked to sit next to my sister (who was visiting from Indianapolis) since we arrived together and there were two open seats. My stylist was very accommodating and worked to come to a solution. On the other hand, my sister's stylist, both front desk ladies, and another stylist were incredibly unfriendly and treated us like we inconvenienced them. My sister was not offered anything to drink, and I had to ask my stylist to take care of both of us. In addition, the stylist who's station "we took" so that we could sit together rolled her eyes at my sister and I multiple times and complained to the front desk ladies in front of us about how we took her station. She also stormed over during our blowouts and grabbed hair tools and stormed away to where she was taking care of another guest. Aside from my stylist who was lovely (and I wish I remember her name), the entire experience was uncomfortable. I am shocked that professional stylists and managers would treat their customers the way we were treated. I definitely won't be returning to Drybar and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone because they won't treat you with any ounce...

To the manager who laughed at me - I booked a hair appt after a very difficult week. My problems are not your problems. But if you run a business you have a responsibility to the patrons of that business. And when you make a mistake you should take ownership for it instead of throwing it back at me.
To the owners - I just moved back to Philly. I remember having problems with this dry bar before leaving and my friends and I started going to another salon. I decided to try again since itās been two years but this is still a problem. Iām not coming back but for your future customers I hope this...
