I absolutely adore this Trail. It's very bike and pedestrian-friendly. And the cool thing is there's two lanes one for walkers and the other for bikers and joggers. So therefore you don't have to worry about running into somebody. I took my wife and son to the trail and she also fell in love with it. We just recently started writing on the trails. You can also have a picnic alongside of the river as well. The best time to go is first thing in the morning on the weekends. Another cool part about this Trail is it runs into Fairmont Park. I highly recommend this Trail if you're looking for a nice bike ride in a place to...

A few weeks ago, I walked the Schuylkill River Trail in downtown Philadelphia, and it was such a pleasant experience, especially with the great weather! The trail offers stunning views of the river and city skyline, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll or a more active run. It’s well-maintained, with plenty of space for both walkers and cyclists. The peaceful atmosphere along the water contrasts nicely with the vibrant city backdrop, making it an ideal escape right in the heart of Philly. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy some...

Love to walk along the bicycle path to check out all of the nature and the beauty that it has to offer. Even though it's a trail to ride your bicycle, it's also great to just spend the day to walk and ride your bike. There are many stops along the way to let you know where you're at and explaining everything about that area you are in. There are many places to stop and maybe have a picnic or possibly go fishing. So much to do and to see all the beauty that Mother Nature has to offer. Not to mention that this is a great way to get some exercise...

They just completed the extension and it's even better! It runs now down to Grey's Ferry with grassy/ parkish areas in between. Lots of places to sit along the trail to relax and enjoy the sun or the view of the river and Philly skyline. There's also a skatepark and places to fish toward the end of the new section. Nicely paved for bikes, scooters, and skates! Great weekend walking trail!
