I would honestly give my entire interaction at this location no stars if i could. My experience Two days before Christmas was absolutely appalling!
I go to Staples all over this city to drop off packages for my Four Businesses. Especially this location. December 23, i went to drop off a small package; already labeled & ready. I did not need a receipt. As i walked in, One of the print department’s employees (short, had braids) told me amazon returns was closed. I replied that my package wasnt an amazon return and patiently waited at the counter to be helped. As I patiently waited, i saw the shorter employee beckon the other employee (tall-ish, Caucasian) to the back to talk for about 10 minutes as i was still waiting to be helped. Both then came out and rudely stated that the whole shipping side of the print department was closed. I replied that i didnt need any receipt and that my small package was already labeled. She impolitely & condescendingly repeated once more that, that it did not matter and to come back tomorrow (Christmas Eve) to drop it off again . There was an elder gentleman waiting patiently behind me as well; who she also rudely & impolitely addressed him; as “you too”. I was then forced to drive to Staples down Columbus Boulevard (about an hour away with traffic) to drop off my package; which that Staples did successfully take.
Being someone who used to work in a print department, this was one of the nastiest examples of customer service i've seen so far. I am astonished & bewildered at how these two individuals have been chosen to reflect the store ; & even more to see such disregard for their customers during holiday season. They seemed even proud to display this behavior.
Therefore, I will no longer be conducting any further business at this Staples location and will make sure to let all my business contacts know of these services & the “values” of...
Read moreI wish I could give a thousand stars! A few weeks ago I was School supply shopping with my children. My oldest had to have this one backpack but I was having such a hard time finding it. Then I found out it’s a very popular backpack but I kept searching online & in store About a week ago I checked staples online and the internet stated there was one in stock at the store, I knew there was a chance the backpack could not be there but I had to check. I went to the store right away & looked around & of course no luck. One of the employees asked if I needed help so I told her what was going on & she said ok, give me a second. A few minutes later the same employee comes back over to me & says we just got a shipment in this morning (which was maybe 20 minutes before I got there) the paperwork stated there is 3 in the shipment somewhere. I said ok & thank you & that I would be back later or tomorrow. The employees response hold on, give us like 20 minutes let us see if we can find it. Sure enough about 20 minutes later she comes walking up to me carrying the backpack!!! Now that is customer service!!! Two employees Sarah & Coco went above and beyond for me this day & they definitely didn’t have to go to such extremes to help me and no one asked them they just did that out of the kindness of their hearts! They helped me put a huge smile on my daughters face and made her so happy! I will truly never forget that so from the bottom of my heart Sarah & Coco...
Read moreI usually don’t have too many reviews that I write that are bad.
I used to visit this store a few times. Since I live in the area the last 2 years but now after todays visit I will say I am never shopping there or printing there again! I’m just one person but they definitely lost a customer. The white lady that worked in the printing center was very rude, ignored my request for help and just walked away from me and started talking to the other associate. Not even bothering to look back or actually help me. And I informed her the customers ahead of me that did not speak English needed more proper assistance from her because she just handed the girl and her father a card for printing instructions but I noticed they didn’t speak English and were looking confused still just standing at the printer. I wanted to help them because I’m a customer service professional and I believe in excellent customer service at all times. And managing customer flow properly. I had important documents that needed printing for court tomorrow and the woman disregarded my request for help. Now I won’t have the documents ready because I do not have home access to a printer. It was about to 8pm everywhere else was going to close or already be closed by the time I got there.
I hate when a retail employee blatantly disregards a customer. I really needed help now I’m going to be unprepared for...
