This place was literally disgusting. I should’ve walked out the door when first walking in you see a bunch of seating but almost completely empty. Waitress was incredibly rude from the jump, put that aside and went to grab first plate, got some fried rice which was completely bland and cold then moved on to a piece of steak, hard, dry flavorless and cold. Moved onto the coconut shrimp which tasted completely old, and as i’m looking down I notice A straight black hair in my food, couldn’t even convince myself it was mine because i have curly brown hair. Waitress came over as me and my boyfriend showed her the hair just trying to get acknowledgement of the disgusting error on their behalf only to be told that she didn’t see the hair… then walked away. In utter disgust I tried get our moneys worth but the food was not edible and the ignorance of the experience turned my stomach green. She dropped the check on the table without saying any words to see she charged full price which was $43 for two people who couldn’t stomach finishing one plate. As we go to pay me and my boyfriend express our horrible experience to the woman at the front explaining that our waitress claimed she didn’t see the hair, in a sense claiming i was lying, said that I took a video to show what I seen, woman acted apologetic in a sense and said she would give a discount , which brought the total to $39… Then proceeds to ask me to delete the video that I took. This place was absolutely disgusting, the customer service was absolutely embarrassing, and the food was atrocious and the experience in general was one of the worst things i’ve ever experienced in my life and I come from a background in fine dining and this place is absolutely horrendous!! Read moreThis place I delicious. I DO recommend it, and the sushi is great... I mean, all you can eat sushi? That's really all I need to say, and still I'll say it's actually really good. Suprising, I know, but I've eaten ALOT of sushi and played as much for two people as I did for a family of four at this buffet.
I will say this though; Y'all need to pay your employees more or something. This is said in regard to my only issue, and it is a big one considering COVID-19 is still a major problem; there was no soap in the bathroom to wash my hands with.
As any upstanding citizen would do, when I looked out at the wonderful mouthwatering spread of fresh fruit and remembered I was sharing serving utensils with the rest of Philadelphia, I headed to the little boys room to wash my hands... low and behold, no soap. They were putting the food away and trashing it 20 minutes prior to closing but at the same time allowing people come to the food bar with barely any food there. They were spraying cleanser over the food wiping down the glass over the food bar. People had to eat that food but would not know anything was wrong until after they paid for the food and took it home. This can make someone sick because chemicals was sprayed over it. They were mopping the floors and were nit allowed to use the restroom after being rushed to pay. They committed so many violations and should be held accountable. The ribs were so tough that I could NOT eat it and I have teeth. They had the audacuty to have notes taped to the napkin disposals implying if you waste food they will charge you an additional 10 percent to your bill! That is utterly ridiculous!
