First time here, went on a Saturday around 7pm. Fast service. When tried to pay with card, the cashier claimed my card was declined (in no way her fault) but I was certain I had money on the card. When she asked a manager they said it didnt go through because they had a "limit on how many they can swipe in a day". They didnt have an ATM on location so we had to walk down the block for a ATM. Good customer service though. Food came out at decent time but wasnt really hot/warm. Seasoned nicely in a thick-like butter with some spice. Mussels were good size but felt like the clusters only had small amount of meat inside. Place does get crowded quickly so the earlier the better. Before going I tried to call to verify that they were open and I was not able to reach through, just kept ringing. Oh and seafood salad is only during the summer.

We had: Seafood fries 2 clusters of Alaskan crabs & mussels 2 clusters of Dungeness crab Their fries menu is at the counter where you order. There is so much crabmeat on the seafood fried. Everything was so good! The sauce makes it. We saved the sauce and some seafood to make seafood pasta the next day.

Smelled so good entering this establishment. My boyfriend and I purchased a special that included a fried cluster, fish, corn, and French fries; I added a side of broccoli. Out of everything, I enjoyed the broccoli and fish the most. We plan on trying everything on their menu.

Last night my sisters and I came to Soulfed for the first time. Which we thought the food and drinks would be great based on how it’s advertised as well thinking we could do hookah. First we ask for the hookah, but was told they didn’t have hookah and it was coming soon. However, on your ig page y’all are advertising that you do have hookah but don’t. I was not happy with the food nor the service from the waitress. We ordered the Seafood fries and they did not come out freshly hot as it was lukewarm, along with my side of broccoli and corn we ordered. My sister ordered wings and they did not come with her fries. The waitress didn’t put the regular fry order in that my sister ordered and stated she forgot. We ordered everything at one time. So I’m not sure how she didn’t see the fry order. It wasn’t even that busy nor was she serving multiple tables. She was only serving our table. The fries did not come out until right when we were getting ready to leave. The fries also came out with old bay Seasoning which my sister did not asked for. She wanted regular plan fries. The waitress did not ask if she wanted that on her fries. Nor did she try to accommodate the fact that my sister had to wait for her fries and couldn’t eat with all her food together. When it came to the check it was about $95 and change. We gave the waitress $25 in cash to use first then to split the rest between 2 cards. When she returned with the receipts, we noticed she tried to pocket the $25 and charged the 2 cards but splitting 2 ways of making it $47 and change on each card. When we nicely tried to bring this to her attention and explain she did it wrong. She immediately stated “no I did it right, I put the $25 towards the bill.” We stated no she didn’t and then she went to the register to find her error. She then returned to the table with our $25. I found that this was very unprofessional and wasn’t happy at all. I came all the way from jersey to eat good food, drinks and have hookah but that wasn’t the Case at all. No manager came over to apologize for the inconvenience and error. I’m very unhappy and disappointed with the food, service and false advertisement this place gave. NEVER WILL...

IF YOU HAVE A LARGE ORDER FOR AN IMPORTANT DAY STAY AWAY!!

The food is good but the customer service is horrible. My husband ordered 17dozen of crabs- 11 hard shell and 6 sautéed with 2lbs of mussels, over $500. He pre-ordered them early afternoon on Friday, August 31 to be picked up on Sunday, September 2 at 7 PM and he left a $300 deposit w/ a $40 tip. However, when he and my brother went to pick them up on Sunday, September 2 he was told they needed 15 minutes and they will be ready. After 40 minutes they still were not ready and eventually he was given only four pans of crabs totaling six dozens of sautéed and six dozen of hard shell meaning there were 5 dozen still missing. But he was told that was his complete order. So he proceeded to count out the crabs himself and only at that point did they acknowledge their error being five dozen short. And then they said they needed more time. Needless to say after waiting 1hr-15min, he got the crabs and they gave him a Styrofoam container of my 2 pounds of mussels which was wrapped tightly with plastic wrap. When my husband finally got home after missing our daughter's surprise entrance that was to start at 8pm, we opened the Styrofoam container and found out we were given 2 pounds of shrimp and not mussels. Also many of the crabs were mushy. So the moral of the story is if you want to order large trays from them it's better for you to order their sauce which is fabulous but get your crabs from ShopRite and do it yourself. Their customer service was not very good, they made us wait forever despite us having such a large order. It was like they would rather wait on the customers that had one or two platters versus our six trays. You...

The sign in front of Soulfed says "Kingz". They are no longer located at the original address. You have to drive all the way down the confusing directions of 17th Street. I was happy that it was a better area than the original location. I had seafood fries the fries we're already seasoned. They added way too much sauce and old Bay / Cajun seasoning. After a while the food was too spicy to eat. When I asked what was in the sauce I was told it's a secret. So, I had to go down a list of ingredients that I either don't like or am allergic to. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous. There were about 6 people in the kitchen and one person cooking. You shouldn't take 30 to 45 minutes for French fries sprinkled with sauce, with three shrimp on top to take that long. even if they make it fresh to order it should not take that long. No one knows where to stand to order. I finally get to the counter to order and the young man behind the counter took about 4 minutes to come over to take my order. He was not cooking or cleaning at the time. the temperature inside the waiting area was so hot I had to go outside. Imma check it out again after the hype dies down. Right now it's too much. Final thoughts: The food was okay but the organization and time management...
