Read moreItâs a cute little âmallâ with a larger than youâd expect food court. Itâs better stores are some of my faves so Iâm a little impartial but for a city mall, while small, itâs nicely appointed and has an upscale air to it. The Bloomingdales Outlet Store, while smaller than Nordstrom Rack, has some great finds. It is strangely disconnected from the rest of the mall but is a standout. Like the J Crew, itâs most easily accessed from street level. Other standouts include a large aforementioned J Crew store, an average sized Express, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, and typically small Kiehlâs, Godiva, Body Shop, and Aveeda stores (all of which have helpful staffs). The food court has whatâs hard to find in cities: a Chick-Fill-A (itâs a bigoted, right-wing, privately owned company but I love the chicken). The rest of the food court is typical mall fair. Despite its small size (more akin to a shopping center with better stores), Liberty Place is worth a visit but beware: it closes maddeningly early at 7pm even on weekends (Bloomingdales is open until 8). But that just gives you a chance to visit the excellent stores directly across the street that are open later: Nordstrom Rack, Uniqlo, and Sephora or you can...
Read moreLiberty Place as Philly Natives call it, is a Mid-Day (Lunch Time) Hang Out Place. Adults in the Professional White-Collared world come here around 11:30am-2pm (avoid Liberty during that time everything is completely over-crowded). Teens come right from school to here around 1:55-3pm. After 3pm Teens are not allowed without someone over 21 with them. I personally Hate this rule because I myself am a teen under 21 ( I look alot older), But I work in an office building Down the street and lunch for me does not start until after 4pm which would suck if i actually looked my age. I hate coming to Liberty Place due to the fact of The way i feel like Iam treated differently because of My Age, Race & Gender. Don't get me wrong there not Racist (I think?!) but they do look at me differently in the Food Court and near the Jewelry stores (They Obviously Don't Know i don't need anything they have). Anyway Liberty Place is a Cheezy Mall if you were looking to shop Here i wouldn't recommend this place Until They make some changes (Go down the street to walnut), But if you are in Center City and Hungry Come in they Have Au Bon Pain, Auntie Annies, Chick-Fila and A Chinese Take Out Place. This is why i give liberty place...
