Shop at Fashion Square or online. Not here. What a shame to have a business managed by someone who needs to take a major course in customer service skills. I purchased SEVERAL items from Alo in the recent month. In those purchases was a black hat. I wore the hat a few times and every-time I wore it, I spent the entire time trying to adjust the bill because it looked crooked in photos. Upon further examination, I finally realized that it was the hat itself and it had been manufactured crooked so no adjusting would fix the issue. Today I went into the Kierland Alo to bring the problem to the attention of the staff. I showed the associate the hat and explained the situation. She said the hat had been worn. I said yes and again explained the situation. She took it back to her manager and said her manager denied exchanging the hat because it had been worn and past the 30 days (I got it on 2/29). At this point I asked to speak to the manager. Naomi the manager came out and SO rudely told me that "clearly this hat has been worn several times and we will NOT exchange it." I again explained that yes I did wear the hat and realized that it was the manufacturer issue not the issue with adjusting the hat bill. She was SO rude, made me feel like an idiot, like a loser and like I was trying to game the system. This was about one of 5 items I had purchased on that receipt too. I was absolutely stunned at her rudeness and lack of customer service. I know that as a leader of a business, it is up to their discretion to appease a customer and not only did she not try to correct the situation, she also made me feel so embarrassed. Naomi has lost a customer to this Alo location and I'm sure she doesn't care. But I will also be recommending to my friends and colleagues in the area to take a little drive to Fashion Square or purchase online before supporting a storefront with such unapproachable leadership.
I will also note that after I left I called customer service and the associate Sebastian was SO nice and accommodating. I explained the situation, sent a photo of the hat and he is having a new one shipped. What a different kindness makes.

Read moreI went here last night at around 7pm- I usually go to the fashion square alo but was nearby. We decided to go and look at the pink collection. They didn’t have much so my sister and I decided to buy other stuff. Everyone was super nice, the older lady on the floor and even the young gentleman who was checking people out and got us a fitting room! They were all super nice. Our experience was ruined by the young blonde girl who was checking us out at the counter. She was super off putting with us and made us feel super uncomfortable. Her attitude was nasty and I will no longer be visiting this alo. I have been to many alo’s in Texas, California and even ny and have never had this experience with a worker. Alo staff has never not been friendly and provided great customer experience. I have worked retail when I was younger and this little girl does not have what it takes. This type of service...

There was a shopper in there. I was in there for a while walking around and finally I asked a worker I wasn’t sure if she was a employee so I said do you work here and she just looked at me like I was bothering her anyway I wanted to ask about a size for a cardigan that I wanted she just tells me no we redid the whole store and this is what we have no help whatsoever Like Let me look online or see if a different store have it No greeting when you walk into the store or when you leave Yeah, I’m heading to the Scottsdale fashion Square location
