Arizona Hair Co #15 — Attraction in Phoenix

THIS REVIEW IS LONG. ITS A MUST READ IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR!! I am not one to to write a review, but i feel compelled to write one due to the unprofessionalism exhibited by the manager Candace today August 26, 2024 at 12:30pm. I originally visited Candace this past Saturday August 24, 2024 to have my hair cut in a asymmetrical haircut. Candace reassured me that "she wouldnt be Edward Scissorshands " cutting my hair. She said that she listens to her clients concerns and that she doesnt cut hair the way she thinks it should be cut. She took her time and was patience with me. I was actually pleased in how my hair turned out. She mentioned that if i wanted more cut to just give her a call. I even gave her a 68% tip. I was happy with the cut. After, couple of days, I took Candace's up on her offer. When I called I spoke with Summer to see if Candace was available. I mentioned to Summer that i was willing to pay for the recut " I wasn't looking for a free haircut". When I arrived Candace seemed to be irriated that I had returned. I tried to make light of Candace's attitude towards me. I showed Candace how much shorter I wanted cut. Candace handed me her comb and said, "she can't cut my hair everyday" and told me to part my own hair, knowing I wasn't able to use my right arm due to recent shoulder surgery. Candace was about to cut the section of my hair that I specifically just asked her to not cut. Candace, angrily responded with, "let her do her craft". My response was " dont put your bad mood on me, that Candace had an attitude since i got there. Candace, told me we were done and to get out of her chair with an unfinished haircut and that she was going to take it off the books After the exchange of words with Candace, Candace walked away in cowered into the back office. Candace left me there to seek the services of another stylist (Alicia) that was in the salon to correct my unfinished cut, who witnessed the exchange. Alicia, took her time and cut my hair exactly the way i requested. Alicia stepped up in the most professional matter in spite of what just happened. Once, Alicia was done. Alicia said she wasn't going to charge me for the haicut. But once I got to the first desk. Summer told Alicia that Candace told her to charge me for the haircut that Candace said she would take care of as she stormed off. Given the reputation of your salon, I expected a professional and satisfactory experience, but this recent visit has unfortunately fallen short due to the lack of Candaces inability to provide basic customer service.. I don't understand how she holds a manager position with Arizona Hair co. When Candace is incapable of being a decent human being. DO NOT SIT IN CANDACE CHAIR. SHE'LL KICK YOU OUT IF YOU TELL HER HOW YOU WANT HER TO CUT YOUR...

Went in today for a cut/shape of my curly hair. I feel like crying I'm so frustrated with my hair and the way it came out. I don't remember the stylists name but none of them can cut curly hair or really have before it seems. I even asked when calling to make my appointment which stylist I should see for my curly hair and was told any of them can cut it. I should have taken it for the red flag it was because the person I got did not know what she was doing. I almost felt as I'd I had to tell her where to cut and I'm not the stylist so what do I know. I should have just left when I got the feeling smh. Not the place to get your curly hair cut at all. I asked her to shape my hair so it was more full and rounded at the top. See pics for what I got vs what I asked for. Wow and I'm unable to post the pics. I can see why it's not an option. Of course they wouldn't want the bad cuts to show. The stylist could have had the decency of being honest that she couldn't cut my hair the way I was asking instead of trying and completely ruining it....

If you want to have hair after you leave here don't even go here. At least make sure you DO NOT get the "stylist" Denise (I believe her name is...she's super short with shorter hair) she literally made me cry after leaving here. She doesn't even face you towards the mirror when she's cutting your hair, I mentioned that to her and her response was "all my stuff is right here so it's easier for me like this"...she literally shaved off half the side of my hair! I wish I was exaggerating!! She needs to have her own head shaved licensed revoked and never EVER given the right to do hair AGAIN! I even asked her BEFORE i sat in her chair are you comfortable with doing short hair cuts...her response "oh yes of course" .....lets just say...Thank God for wigs! All I wanted was a cute pixie which I've had for many years... I'm crying just writing this review of how upset she made me. Please revoke this girls license and get rid of her! For the sake of...
