My girlfriend I have been going to this market for awhile. Everyone’s nice and things come at a good price. Until recently, when we went to get our food, some of our groceries were moldy. We are specifically referring to the 'Spicy Rice Cake' packages. We feel as though it is due to them not refrigerating it correctly. I would have posted pictures of it as well but it was just too appalling at the time. Same goes for the meat and vegtables we purchased. The vegatables look like they went bad and the meat has the worst smell. And it wasn't even close to the expiration date on the package. I would not have been so upset, but this is our week's worth of groceries all gone to waste. I cannot get my money back either since this has never happened, I'd never expect it. So, the receipt is gone. I’d like to say I’m very disappointed especially since someone could get sick if they don’t notice these kinds of things. For anyone seeing this, check your...

I've been shopping this place for couple of times now and base on my experience don't come in when the store is about to close because you will not have a fresh produce like yam leaf ,if it's been in the aisle for 2 days it's not gonna be good. Plus I've seen some items that's past expiration dates like the Bibingka / Rice cake mix the expiration was 2021 and the other one was 2022. Please have a look on your food item because what if someone was in rush shopping without knowing she got an expired item. One more thing , please have a look on your thermometer especially on the fresh seafood because it's I think in a temperature danger zone. The fish looks dull and red eyes. And that's maybe the reason why the store smells awful from outside . Hopefully this will help improve your service. And pls put a price tag on your product.I got a Philippines eggplant for $3 or something but my receipt shows Chinese eggplant, which...

I went there and the customer service was horrible I walked up to the check out line and said hi to the cashier and she ignored me and continued talking with the bagger. I had to wait for them to ring me up while they were finishing talking about personal life stuff and they continued to talk about random things when they were checking me out and when they were scanning my stuff they dropped the drink and dented the can, and then didn’t even apologize for it. They just kept going and talking and then when I tried to ask them a question about a product, they ignored me and proceeded to talk to a different guest that was there, and finally at the end of my check out I said have a nice day, and the cashier just said “uh ha.” What a...

I've come to this grocery store a few times and it's the main one I go to for Asian foods. It's definitely unassuming and relatively small but they have all the core staples you'd look for at an Asian market (esp. Chinese, Japanese, Korean food and drink - there is a Filipino section, though it's not very big, but it's noteworthy since that can be hard to find). The quality is consistently good here, I've never had any issues. The prices are also pretty good, in fact I'm pretty sure some of the produce prices beat my local big chain grocer. Just keep in mind that anything imported will always be a bit pricier than the equivalent product (if one exists) in western cuisine.

We love Lam's Market. A wonderful, old-fashioned Asian supermarket with tons of variety, fresh fruit, veggies, meat and seafood. You'll see from the photos that it's clean and well organized. This is specifically the Lam's at 35th and Camelback. We used to go to the Lam's at 67th and Indian School, but this one is closer to home. Whether you're in a family that regularly cooks Asian food or are experimenting with Asian cuisine, you should be able to find all the ingredients you need at Lam's.
